Thank you! I really like to make simple freeze dried items. That way, I can just toss them into anything. Freeze dried onions and herbs have been my favorite ingredients this year. So easy and SO delicious. Thanks for watching!
I think having a freeze dryer would be perfect if you had a garden. It is a perfect way to preserve celery and all the other produce. On my wish list. Thank you
Hey there! So when I reconstitute them, I usually start with a conservative amount of water and increase it as needed. For the eggs, I do a 1:1 ratio. So I usually combine 2 tbsp of eggs and 2 tbsp of water. I'll let it sit for a few to rehydrate. Then, I'll add more water until it reaches the right consistency. For the potatoes, I combine 1 cup of mashed potatoes and about 1/2 cup of water. Again, I let it sit for a few minutes, then I'll gradually add more water as needed. Hope that helps. Let me know if I can clarify anything. I'm always happy to help. Thanks for watching!
I didn't. Would that prevent the browning? I wouldn't mind that, but my little one won't touch anything with a hint of lemon flavor, haha! Thanks for watching!
I love this video. So interesting to see all that you are freeze drying!

Can you give the water-to-powder ratio for reconstituting the eggs and mashed potatoes?
