Love this idea of using my oven to make several slow cooked things! I will be doing this and throwing in a pan of sweet potatoes and russets for baked potatoes for the week along with a main dish or two for the week. Thank you!
Oh, adding potatoes in the oven is a great idea! The slow cooked dinners were a lifesaver while I was sick, but it's a great method for any time! Thanks so much for watching!
Great video! I’m a first time viewer as I just found you today. I have the Duo EVO Plus Instant Pot as well. If you cycle through the heat setting on Sauté you will get to a Low Level and then Custom which has 6 levels. Hope this helps.
Hey there! Oh, I need to try this. The overheating drives me crazy. I mean, I'm thankful that it shuts off when it gets too hot (no one wants a fire). But it makes it really difficult to use the Instant Pot. Thanks for the tip. And thanks for watching!
Hey there! Slow cooking is the best. All of the recipes were delicious. The lasagna soup was my favorite. But husband's favorite was the marry me chicken. Thanks so much for the well wished. I'm on the mend, but my voice is still a mess. Thanks so much for watching!
These look wonderful! Thank you. I was wondering, are you glad for the double oven? I have to buy a new range and the appliance salesman said they don't work well for everyone. He says everyone uses the top oven and the bottom oven is too low for us older folk. It made me sad because I thought it was a clever feature. Would you recommend one way or the other? (I also have to do electric - miss my gas stove)
Hey there! I love my double oven. I'm not sure if I can go back to having a single. But I will say that the bottom one is pretty low, and that's something to think about, for sure. It's not much of a problem for me these days. But it is harder to get things in and out of it, especially heavy pots like cast iron Dutch ovens. The sales folk and reviews always say everyone uses just the top oven. But I use the top and bottom equally. Often, I have both going at the same time. Let me know what you decide! Thanks so much for watching!
I have the exact same problem with my Instant Pot overheating whenever I saute anything. Not sure if it's something I'm doing wrong but I'd love to hear any advice about that as well :)
Hey there! My guess is that it is a built-in safety feature. Sometimes, I turn it to the sauté function. And when it gets hot enough cook, I just turn it off. Usually, it stays hot long enough, but it's such a pain. If mine overheats, it won't let me turn it back on a for a few minutes. Thanks for watching!
Hey there! I don't have a traditional slow cooker. I just use my Brod & Taylor proofer/slow cooker instead. I prefer it because it is much easier to store. But anything in the video can be done in a traditional slow cooker. Thanks for watching! 🙂
Can’t wait to try all of these!
Thank you so much for watching!

I love slow cooking. I need to try the marry me chicken soon. I have lasagna soup on my list to make too. Wonderful video. Wishing you healing.

Hey, Dana! Thank you so much. I'm feeling better, but this is quite the lingering cold. Thanks for watching!
Great video!

Nice video but I wonder where was the traditional, standard slow cooker? I was waiting.
