Arrma Vendetta: 29t Pinion on 4s. Going For 100mph

In my quest to hit 100mph on my Arrma Vendetta on 4s with a Spektrum 120a esc I tried going up to a 29t pinion gear sinice I was easily able to hit 98.6mph with the 26t pinion.
After this run I ordered a 27t pinion gear and a new body since I have modded the front shocks to eliminate the scraping.
Stay tuned for that as I am sure I'll be able to hit 100mph without any other mods.
Let me know what speeds you have hit and how you got there.

That's the temptation I'm trying to avoid, going 6s would be too easy. I'm trying to make it hit 100+ as a 4s powered car on the stock motor. I think that would really be something! 😁 Thanks for the suggestion 👍

I have a 33pinion on a 34 spur on 6s on the same chassis cant wait to open up that thing

To benefit from 26t pinion you really need the 150a esc.....but 4s on 130a is better on stock pinion.
You'll still get 85mph though.

I ended up using the 120a esc in my Infraction 3s and blew it up. So I bought a 150a esc and the stealthb120a esc for future runs. I may update once they arrive. Thanks for the tips!

The stock motor is maxed out gear wise...you lost speed my gearing up. The stock motor has reached it's max

Actually, I was able to get 109mph with that motor/gear combo.

I think it will. Just not with the 120a esc on there now. I'm going to try going down to a 27t pinion and see if we can hit that hundo. Thanks!

Just found out the esc is faulty. Look out for the vid when I receive a replacement!

You shouldnt be running a lipo down that low ..theres a reason the esc shuts off at 3.8v .
