In today's video we are going to install the Dexter EZ Flex Suspension Equalizers. Tandem axle RV's are prone to equalizer failures as they usually come from the factory with plastic or Teflon bushings. To make matters worse, they will often use very thin metal for the shackles and also they do not use greaseable wet bolts.
The suspension of an RV flexes and moves around constantly. With that movement comes wear. Having thin shackles and no way to provide grease is a sure recipe for disaster.
Today, I am going through the process with some explanation of how you can remedy this problem. Replacing your equalizers and upgrading to heavy duty shackles and wet bolts can do wonders with a small investment to get your rig safer and more sturdy.
