    *for everyone who wants to start doing their own nails and was wondering about the so called "slip solution" and "cleaner". You can just use Isopropyl alcohol anywhere from 70% to 99% alcohol. You also can use acetone instead of nail dehydrator. You pay for 100 milliliters of slip solution and cleaner 5 times the price of a half liter Isopropyl alcohol! Both of those products (slip and cleaner) are litteraly made out of alcohol! They just want to make money by calling them other than alcohol. They just add a little bit of something in it, that is not really needed for the function.*

    You make me realize how absolute shit my old nail techs were. One time I went in after getting a fresh set, and I had lifting 2 days later! I was very shy and so instead of just buffing it down and filling it...they ripped them off my nails with plyers and charged me full price for a new set. I was too non-confrontational to say anything. My experiences there and other similar places made me swear off fake nails. I wish every town had someone like you!

    This is my favorite french tip to do with this stuff! Just again, like I said last time with the clear; you need to do thin, thin layers and cure each layer before moving on to the next one! It'll give you a crystal clear result (or fade) every time!

I already took cosmetology and will be starting next Monday at Continental for esthetics and nail tech. ❤️ The way you explain things and how you teach it makes it so easy for me to understand. The last few things I need to learn is silk wraps, acrylics, and fiber glass nails. ❤️ Thank you for everything ❤️❤️❤️

    Hi Suzie. After a brain injury 2 years ago I have had to retire from work at just 53.
    For many years having beautiful nails have been part of my work uniform, so once I had finished learning all my basic life skills again I had to decide what I was going to do with the rest of my days and it was a no brainier. Never too old to change careers they say.
    Along with my course I love to watch your tutorials. I believe it’s a good thing to see things from several opinions.
    One thing I have noticed is the warm soothing tone of your voice, and the funny little cockney ending to the odd sentence lol, a little Nancy from Oliver in there 😝
    Please keep doing exactly what you do so very very well. Thank you and stay safe 🌈🌈💙

    TIP: I use this and here's what I've changed.
    The BRUSH! I use an acrylic brush and it holds more slip, easier to manipulate the product. Also wet the Slicer in slip and the bead comes off beautifully. Just what I have changed and its easier to use, faster, smoother, less filing and no mess with laying down the bead it comes off the Slicer without problems.

    Maybe mix some of the clear into the white to soften it on the nail where you're trying fade it, like leave the bold white on the end, nuke it then use the white/clear mix for the fade so it doesn't take as much pink to soften so you'll lessen the risk of filing it off

Also my tube split open at the top from having to squeeze so hard, and i was told to fit the plastic clip to the tube from its first use, not just for when you get to the end. Do you know if you can do a fill if the client has acrylic or hard gel on? I have only used Polygel on new nails. Keep up the good work. Fab tutorial on infills and rebalancing. Kim x

    Because of the fact the polygel won't cure before using the led lamp, would this product be better to practice my technique on at first as apposed to dip acrylic? I'm a cosmetology student and I'm having some trouble sculpting the acrylics before it cures. Also side question is the acrylic supposed to be so soft or is that a sign that my ratio is off?

    • @bruhidk3069
      @bruhidk3069 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Noah Smith its much easier to do gels rather than acrylics , and if youre using the professional acrylic , then yeah ur liquid ratio may be off but if your using cheap shit then its probably the acrylics fault lol

    • @lnuma92
      @lnuma92 7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Noah Smith
      CND is a really good brand so I don't think that's the issue. Granted, that depends in what stage you are in the process of using the acrylic when it is a polymer and commencing the "curing process".
      Also, we're you in a cold air conditioned room while using your acrylic? Acrylic tends to cure slower in lower temperatures, but faster in warmer ones. Make sure the room at least is 73°F (22.8°C) and ventilated well.
