Great song, great reaction. I'm looking forward to you listening to Bleeding Me and Outlaw Torn. Both are very different. Much slower and emotional
Killer songs man
I would say Bleeding Me and Poor Twisted Me
Do the Outlaw Torn....most underrated song of Load.
The best songs on those albums for sure
Outlaw Torn is a masterpiece.
Then it all crashes down, and you break your crown, you point your finger, but there's no one around, just want one thing, that's to play the king, but your castles crumbled and your left with just a name.. Where's your crown King Nothing? :D Best lyrics.
All we are is dust in the wind
When they began their 72 seasons tour here in the netherlands it was kingsday. James knew that and played this song for our king😂❤
I was there too. I'm so glad they played that one, still a kick ass song.
U r such a Very Bright young lady....love ur reactions...keep up the great job and the great Music 🎵🎶🎵
The live version is awesome.
Yeah, live at the MTV Europe Music Awards was great! :)
@@saltybrickyes it was SO FUCKING WHAT LAST CARESS
This is the most sense this song has ever made to me. Haha, I guess I was never one to pay much attention to lyrics, mainly 'cause I'm really bad at understanding them so my mind just goes straight to the instruments. This song was the third single from Load, and it had a video. I remember because the last 10-15 seconds of the video were... how do I put this. Kinda scary.
My best memory of this period was meeting Jason's mom backstage and having a conversation about Kalamazoo Michigan. She was super cool.
Bleeding Me and The Outlaw Torn are where it's at off the Load album!
These albums are the anthems for finding Sobriety, dealing with death, and having a basic fears of everything you've known as life for thirty years falling apart. These albums pour forth the positive energy of " Pick yourself up and go "
1st metallica song I heard when i was 6. This song was my gateway to metal 🤘
Been waiting for this one, this is definitely one of my favorites off this album!
The "off to never never land" part was James and the band saying this is the same song writing formula as Enter Sandman.
Definitely one of Metallica's greatest songs
Bleeding Me is one of my personal favorites on this album.
One of my favorite tallica jams
Another one of my top favorite Metallica songs 🔥
Wait till you check “The Outlaw Torn„
Man, this is a good song. From the time I first heard that opening riff to now, it's been a favorite. I'm also really glad you pay attention to the lyrics. They make the song just that much better5. Have a great 2924!
Great Reaction Beautiful Woman!! Yes,Metallica 🤘😎,I saw your Reaction to fade to black by Metallica.. I just lost my identical twin brother last month and your words rang true with me... I think I'm going to play this song at my brother's celebration of life... Thank You and God Bless
Im really loving your reactions and Metallica are one of my favorites
My favorite song on this album 😅
Bleeding me
One of the few albums I've bought where I can remember looking which side of the vinyl each song is on, just because I love this album so much. So formative in my taste in music. It's got some flaws, but its far from the train wreck people make it out to be. Glad more people are checking it out now!
Where The Wild Things Are…is a Metallica song on Reload…that has King Nothing vibes!
Looking forward to the next 2 reactions cause those are my favorites off the album!
Loved this song and great reaction as always!
The music video for this one was filmed in Utah not far from where I live. This came out when I was in high school, remember it vividly.
Did you catch the last words James said? "Off to never never land..." Sound familiar?
I never looked at the beginning of this song as a creeping annoyance that would later reveal itself. Nice.
My favorite song on the Load album
Love this song
I love this song!
great tune. period
Bleeding me is my favorite load song
Load and reload are different cuz they had to change their sound to stay in the main stream, and even James will say we did what we did to stay alive, but he hates these albums as well, so they switched back to what they wanted to do and those following albums will shock you, especially they latest 2, naw the latest 3, but you like this song because it's Entertaining Sandman all over, same 8 step Intro, same length, same notes played on the same fretts just different rhythm, the structure and foundation are identical, the vocals in the middle were identical, and James did that on purpose, infact at the end he said "off to never never land" in reference to Samdman. I personally love this era, James really comes into his vocals, experiment alot with vocals, and the riffs are just so insanely good, the song "prince charming" EVERY TIME I hear that intro, I'm like, Awwwwwwe yeaaaaaaaaahhhhh! Every single time. Insanely good riff. Fuel is fast and hard, house jack built, is deep, has meaning we all can relate too, this era is so underrated and misunderstood, and those who hate hate it, aren't MetallicA fans, they are trash fans, cuz if they understand music, and the lyric, they see insane structure behind these 2 albums.
Hi, respect! 🤘 thanks for reacting, no one in individual life would be a king. ❤
i’m excited for hero of the day
7:39 - oh, that look is priceless🤣
Amazing reaction Jane. I just love how you read and listen to a song. And you dont miss any details. I just love it. I found you through Metallica and please keep them coming. And I will for sure watch your other reaction videos, it sure is a pleasure :)
There atleast a couple more songs I cant wait for you to react on this album.
Outlaw Torn
Bleeding me
Hero of the day
Mama said
I think you will appreciate the lyrics in all of them and the music ofc :)
I had heard the black album when I was in Germany which planted the seed of my eventual love of Metallica. Seeing them perform this song live pushed me to becoming a life long Metallica fan. They became my favorite group once I went down their rabbit hole of masterpieces.
The version live on "cunning stunts" 👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌
And bad seed when start concert
This is easily my favorite song on this album.
The Outlaw Torn is my favorite 😍 on this album! 🤘🤘♥️
I know it's weird... But you gonna love it the more you heard it😎
This song is an unofficial sequel to Enter Sandman, same exact song structure plus the end line is 'Off to never never land...'
Glad you liked this song. There are several really good songs on this album. Bleeding Me and Outlaw Torn to name a couple. Honestly, I hated this album for years when it came out, but it has grown on me over the last 10-15 years.
King nothing is one of my all time favorite Metallica songs. It's a great jam and James's lyrics couldn't be more true for the times than when he wrote them.
@@bobsmith5229 yep, love the meaning of the song as well! Like I said, this album has grown on me so much over the years. I was one of those Metallica old heads that hated the switch up in styles of music from this album originally. But I’ve come to realize that people grow and change in life and this album is a clear example of how Metallica had matured past the thrash days of their 20’s and were experimenting with styles of music that suited their current life. While I hated it at first, I’ve grown to appreciate just how talented this band truly is. It’s really why Metallica is my fav!
Hero of the Day is another one you will soon encounter, parsing through this album! A good representation of a band who appeared interested in moving-on as their peers stagnated - not much caring about the looming contempt coming their way for being so daring to defy the fanatical base - is a matter of opinion to which I happen to share
@@tristanrl1940 I’m with you on your opinion!
I also hated this album for years... still do 😂
"Load is the strangest..." Wait till you get to St. Anger. "...it has it's bad things..." Wait till you get to St. Anger.
Lilly is definitely wrong here with what she said because she's STILL expecting everything that Metallica does to be a #1 hit as well as a banger that encaptures what she wants from Metallica which is so delusional as well as out of touch with reality.
I Agree with you Lilly - King Nothing & eventually, later on this album, The Outllaw Torn are two of the great songs..❤
Check out Low Man’s Lyric or Mama Said if ya wanna hear how versatile Metallica is. 🤘
This song is in my top 10 metal
YES!!! Another great milestone of your Metallica career!! Sidenote, cannot wait for your next Sabaton reaction!
My favorite song from the Load album is Hero of the Day. It's worth the listen.
This is easily one of the best songs of both Load and ReLoad. Its a direct successor to Enter Sandman and it shows lyrically and musically.
ya it has that old sound to it but the rest of the album dose feel a bit filler for me but not bad songs just the sandman album was top level stuff.
Best song on Load, along with Hero of the Day, and Outlaw Torn, I would agree. Best song on Reload is Fuel, in my opinion.
I know I’m by myself but I have always loved ‘Ronnie’ off of Load. As a guitar player, man.. the leads James performs all over in that song are so bluesy I love it. King Nothing is my favorite song from load though, just wanted to show Ronnie some love! Great song imo. Reload I think I like more than Load. Imo the best songs on load are better than the best songs on reload but as a whole I think reload is better while load has a few songs I don’t care for. My Favorite off Reload is probably ‘Born into attitude’ or ‘Carpe Diem’
@jamesgarrett4653 if youre into this sound theyre both great. Usually, the only people I've noticed who dislike anything on either album are hardcore metalheads. The same ones who cried when they sold out and yet never gave any album a chance after Black.
@@TheUncleDolanShow Those hardcore guys even said they sold out when they made the black album, or as they refer to it as, the Metallica: Metallica album.
everyone will find themselves in their songs! these are songs for the ages
seriously one of the most underrated songs from metallica, the whole album, reloaded too, are awesome! i understand ppl were skeptical and felt it was a huge left turn from thrash metal, but ppl need to experiment and be creative, and my heccing flying spaghetti monster is these albums amazing
love your reactions and desire to truly traverse the whole Metallica rabbit hole. My 2 most favorite Metallica songs are on this album, Bleeding Me and Outlaw Torn. I also cant wait to hear you dive into Death Magnetic!
I also enjoy this song
Great song hands down my favorite off this album.
METALLICA AND LILLY ❤️ ❤️ 🙏 2024
The guitar solo in middle rocks I grew up to all Rap but this music is diffrent makes you wanna rock like the 80s blonde blue eyed girls everywhere
Personally I don't see why the Load albums get so much hate as they do. There are magnificent pieces of art on these records. Yes, they are a little different from before, but that does not automatically make them bad. Which is where some people seemed to go to immediately.
I could almost see the exact moment the adrenaline kicked in.
this song is dope af live especially the part where james sing where the fuck is your crown, not anymore though
Love that song!
Load is not stranger, it’s amazing … but yes, you need to remove all yours bias
Agreed! Considering all her music history at her you age is rap/hip hop. I’m glad she’s expanding her music, but she’s not a rock music expert . And that’s nothing against her. You don’t know what you don’t know. But I’m glad she’s learning.
So load is not that bad after all, uh?. Many people stopped in 1989, and I do respect that choice, but Metallica continue and so the true fans, this album and RELOAD. Are great albums, they went personal in these two, as you’ve seen they are talking about all the addictions and issues they were having. No it’s your time to watch KING NOTHING VIDEO CLIP. Awesome. Great reaction and perceptions of what this song is all about!. 😎😎
She's not reacting to the official music video dude. No point for her to react to something that she's already reacted to even though there's a music video for it. Respect her damn decision if she wants to react to just the lyric videos. You also need to understand that the music videos have a tendency to take away from the actual song which was what happened with the music video for "Until it Sleeps".
@@TokusatsuGamingfan I’m gonna think u didn’t read my whole comment, I said great reaction and time to go and watch the video, because the obvious reasons you stated, you’re the one that needs to chill out. Looks like I’m offended her, which I didn’t. Read before you write anything. Peace.
Unpopular opinion I've had since these came out but .... Load/ReLoad ... Its STILL Metallica's BEST music!! YEAH I SAID IT! 😁🤘😎🤘 #OutlawTorn #Slither #PrinceCharming #KingNothing 🤘😎🤘
Don't forget Fixxxer!
@@shure81 YES!!!! 🤘😎🤘
I didnt like WTWTA at first but one day I fell asleep listenijg to the album and it kept playing. When I was in a long half-asleep/half-awake period WTWTA was playing and I've loved it ever since! 😁💗
ABSOLUFUKINLUTLY!🤘💀🤘A MASTERPIECE!!!🤘💀🤘ONE OF THE BEST SONGS EVER!!!
There are three songs on Load that are good. This one, the next song you will probably play, which is Hero of the Day, and probably the last song you will hear from this album, Outlaw Torn. There is a nice slow song on this album that I like, and that is Mama Said.
I also like Mama Said idc what anyone says! Bleeding Me is a good song as well. Ronnie is underrated imo I really like that song to. Outlaw on the first S&M is the best way to listen to it imo. One of my favorite songs ever but I think the studio version falls flat in comparison to S&M. Same thing for Bleeding me
This is my 2nd favorite track on the album behind Bleeding me, can't wait for you to get to that one.
Also if you like a different sounding Metallica the song Ronnie further on down the album is quite unique
You are building up a very good music culture...but i have to notice that you often analyzed James's lyrics very deeply. Congratulations! 🙏you're cool!💪
I love bleeding me 🤘
I have a feeling you're going to love the next 9 songs. For me, there's not a bad song left on the album, with my personal favorite at number 14, outlaw torn!
coughronniecough
I honestly believe this song is responsible in part for the hate for this album back when it was released. Because it was the first single, released in advance of the album. And if your next album was going to sound really different that your last, smash hit album, that's fine. But when the first thing from Load we hear is King Nothing, which sounds like it could have been on the Black album, we then had an expectation. And so day one we ran out and paid our $17 dollars for the cassette, and it was different and weird. Plus then they tried to gaslight us and said everyone was upset they cut their hair. It's too bad. Load is a good album, but at the time, it was a bait and switch disappointment.
This is Enter Sandman's sequel (especially, considering the fact that King Nothing ends with phrase "Off to never, Neverland")
Great Song, this is basically Enter Sandman 2
Nothing bad about any song on this album.
Just very diverse and unusual for Metallica songs.
That’s a good thing objectively but everyone’s taste is unique so not everything is going to be for everyone.
We need to get away from deeming things good or bad depending on our enjoyment of it.
It leads to criticism of external factors that are really just personal preferences.
Encourages judgment of the external over understanding of the internal and acceptance that not everything SHOULD be for everyone.
Hi, will still play on a jukebox unil it gets killed! 🤟🤘💪
The thing with this album is, it grows on you the more you listen. As the years go on, the better it gets. It’s a brilliant album
😂
@@Gary_M Don't like what he said? Too bad for you. This album is definitely a brilliant album, regardless of what closed as well as very narrow-minded people as well such as yourself with your heads so far up your own ass that do nothing but screech about how Metallica shouldn't have changed, or Metallica should have stuck to what they have done before, and don't want them to do anything new or take risks have to say.
King Nothing is definitely one of the better songs on the album although I have to day Hero of the Day is my favorite song off Load as well as in my top 10 Metallica songs overall.
This is a pretty good song on this album. The riff is what I enjoy most about it. The song is about getting everything you ever wanted and finding out that it actually sucks.
I concur…. this cut is one of my favorites from this album with “Until it Sleeps” and “ Hero of the Day” running real close…you should give those songs a deep listen if you are so inclined….just saying !!😁🎸🤘🎶
Definately in the top 3 on the album...
But probably not their top 50!
But, with the level that this band has reached, that does NOT make it a shit song!
If you see this lily,I highly recommend joe satriani. He is truly phenomenal at guitar playing.
I liked the ...''fly'' thing....
Great video
Hot and cold, rotten soul, the heart as hard as gold.
best line in the song.
It’s bought and sold, not rotten soul.
The actual lyric is "hot and cold bought and sold a heart as hard as gold."
Not my favorite song but it is one of the better ones for sure. Bleeding Me is probably one of the best on the entire album. Mama Said is good too but just be ready for a different sound with that one.
I like this song but if you want to hear old school Metalica try the Album Ride the Lightning....alot more raw.
Come on lilly, this one has an official video and it's very cool to react to, hope you give it a chance.
Please, STOP ASKING LILLY TO REACT TO THE MUSIC VIDEOS, and respect her damn decision if she wants to react to just the lyric videos. You also need to understand that the music videos have a tendency to take away from the actual song which was what happened with the music video for "Until it Sleeps".
❤
Off to never never land…
You need Black Sabbath in your life, first 3 albums untouchable, where it all started. Color scheme wise, your black n green goes perfectly with OVERKILL and TYPE O NEGATIVE.
🐇 love u gang
A great Metallica song to react to is "one"
Listen to Mama said. You might like it.
Check out fuel on reload
There is a music video for 'King Nothing'... and for 'Hero of the day'... 🔥
Yes, there are music videos for both "King Nothing" and "Hero of the Day". But you need to take into account that the music videos can sometimes distract the viewer and give them a different interpretation of the song than what the artist intended with the song just by itself. the music video for "Hero of the Day" is a perfect example of that.
@@TokusatsuGamingfan Only those w/ a low brain capacity & atrocious taste in music... 😂
@@sumonjamal1653 You think that you are being funny with your terrible comment? You aren't. I was speaking from the perspective of someone who hasn't heard this album before. If someone doesn't want to react to the music videos, that's their choice as well as decision.
@@TokusatsuGamingfan Look who's talking smack... only thing terrible is your affinity for horrible music 😂
Hey Lilly. You ever listen to any Black Sabbath Heaven and Hell? Or the band Pentagram?
I hope you watched or will watch the video.
