I installed the 15 lb captured guide rod in my 4" and 5" Walther PDP. It makes a significant difference in the handling of the firearm. My friends who went to the range with think it lowers the muzzle flip at least 3/4 to 1 inch. I then thought it would be fund to shoot 6 full magazines consecutively in the 4" PDP to see how my hands and arms felt. I put the Walther guide rod in first. Largest grouping was during the next to last magazine and it was about 4.4". I then put the ZR Tactical rod in, fired 6 full magazines. Largest grouping was 2.8" on the last mag. I was tired from 12 full magazines, but noticed a lot less tiredness from the ZR tactical equiped firearm. I give the guiderod 5 stars out of 5 and, to be transparent, I feel a greater sense of confidence in my firearm with the ZR because it isn't plastic like the stock Walther guide rod.
I have all of them and the long stroke guide rod is really the most impressive. Those brass rods with un-captured 15lb springs make the PDP Slide feel like it borderline has enough energy to close the slide. It does but it feels like it’s under sprung. It shoots ok though…has me wondering if you guys didn’t ship me 13lb springs . I ordered some new springs to check . Overall I do love the ZR products
