    Hello from eastern Ontario Canada!
I just finished the Circular Yoke Summer Shirt by Purl Soho using a sw merino hand dyed by my friend. I faded 4 colours together-my first time doing a fade, it's also my first fingering weight garment. I made some alterations and love the finished result.
Currently I am finishing up Joji Locatelli's Staple Linen Top for her Fal KAL (my first KAL and it's international which is really cool!)
It is a brilliant pattern. It's my first time knitting one of her designs and also my first time knitting with linen-which I LOVE.
I decided early on this year to continually try new things with every project, which you could probably gather by all the 'firsts' :)
Looking forward to watching next month!!

Thank so much for watching! Gosh, you've been busy, the Summer Shirt is so delicate and very pretty! I bet it looks great, LOVE the Staple Linen Top!! I've just added that to my Ravelry favourites to have a go with, gorgeous! I've been wanting to knit with linen for a while, will be perfect for our NZ summer coming up. I love to try out new 'firsts' too, I think it's more fun when there's a bit of a challenge, but still nice to have the old faithfuls to come back to :)

Hi, new subscriber here from a cold, wet miserable Scotland.
Absolutely loved your podcast, I'm a knitter of everything from tiny baby outfits, shawls, and right up to aran sweaters, one of which I have just finished knitting tonight just ready to sew up.
Looking forward to watching more of your podcasts xx

I feel you with knitting a cardigan - those purl rows are a pain in the a$$! My sorbet will be the one and only, or at least the only one with purl rows!!! Maybe a garter stitch pattern will do - currently I’m knitting two Anker sommerblouses by petiteknits! Sadly summer is almost over here soon but maybe it’s another idea for your ravelry queue 😋 happy knitting from Germany 🌸🧚💓

So many pearls, so many annoyances! Haha, I do love garter stitch in a solid or lightly speckled colour, that would be totally acceptable ;) oh I love that pattern! I'd like to do the summer version of the Cumulus Blouse too.... so many patterns, so little time! Thank you so much for watching xx

Hi from the UK 🇬🇧 just found your channel yesterday, absolutely loving it and your aesthetic 🙂 your Dad’s hat is gorgeous!! As a beginner knitter I’m scared of colour work but trying to push myself to do new things, you have inspired me to knit a No Frills sweater, will be the first time knitting with two strands together!
Currently knitting an Ellen’s Cardigan from Petite Knit, nearly finished the body 😅 best wishes 🙂

Hi Lottie! Welcome! Thanks so much for watching, and glad I have inspired you! The No Frills sweater is a fun knit that has just the right amount of interest and repetition I think. The Ellen's cardi is super cute too! Loved knitting that one up :) I'm sure yours will look great!

Always lovely to watch your podcast while knitting for myself. Currently working on a sock, which will be my third sock, or second pair. Still struggling a bit, but really enjoying it too. I was looking at the Chiagoo sets recently, or the hiya hiya ones, for interchangeable needles. Do you like your ones? I'm not so sure what impact all the different needle lengths or types would have on my knitting, so it's quite hard to choose.
anyway, I love your balloon cardigan. I'm very eager to try a mohair/fingering weight sweater myself this autumn!

    • @FoxesBlogKnits
      @FoxesBlogKnits  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

Oh thank you so much! I'm so behind on my knitting at the moment, so much I want to make! I absolutely love my Chiagoo set of bamboo circulars, they are so nice to knit with and very handy with all the different lengths of needles and cables. The shorter needles are to go with the 15cm cables as the longer ones don't reach to make a circle for a neck if that makes sense? Usually, I swap to the longer ones when I have worked a larger circumference. Glad you love my cardigan! I've been getting a lot of wear in it while we had a cold snap :) thanks for watching!

Lovely color for the Balloon Cardigan! I am almost done with mine but I did not buy enough mohair so waiting for it currently. The hat for your dad looks so cool! Btw you got me convinced to try cumulus fluff for my next project 😉

Hi Shindy, sorry, but this is a paid for pattern so showing a tutorial would essentially mean taking from the designer. The link to the pattern to purchase is in the description below if you'd like to try making it for yourself, it's lovely! Thanks so much for watching :)

Luv the colours of your dads present! Great job! I am just finishing 2 lopi sweaters for my daughter and her boyfriend (glad it's done!). Its the biggest sweater I have ever made - he is 6foot 8"! Long arms & body! But they turned out nice. We are headed into fall 🇨🇦 so excited for sweater weather. Also I luv your kindie bag, so cute. Nice podcast!
