Hi Jessica, Congrats on your podcast. Just found you and enjoyed it very much. Lovely, lovely knitting. Thank you! You asked about patterns and I feel you might like to take a look at Yarnflakes ( Audrey Borrego) from France and Fibertales (Laerke) from Denmark. Look foward to a new episode. Stay safe. Cheers Lore B.
Thank you Lore for watching! I have just published my next episode actually :) Ooh, I will be sure to check those out, I love the Fibertales Podcast! We follow each other on TH-cam... you know my taste already so well. Hope you're staying safe too x
Aw thank you Laury! That’s so sweet of you to say, I’m glad you enjoyed it! My next monthly episode should be up next week too :) thanks for watching! Hope you’re getting some sunshine where you are x
Just found your podcast, I love everything about it including your little pop-ups. Your style is very classic and your podcast is very inspiring! Thank you for sharing, looking forward to watching all your posts and catching up on your projects.
My favourite sock pattern is called ‘rye light socks’ by tincanknits. It’s a free pattern and if you don’t like the texture they add, you can just leave it out and knit a plain pair with the pattern. Love your episode, that blue yarn is stunning!! I’m also not sure where you mention what you used for the speckled sweater, it’s my favourite 😍😍 thank you!
Ooh I'll definitely have to take a looksee at those! Thank you so much :) my speckle sweater FO video I uploaded last night! It has all the details in there, here is the link: th-cam.com/video/4-BmtIf2leI/w-d-xo.html glad you love that one! It's super cute, reminds me of confetti. Thanks so much for watching x
Hi from another June-Girl! I just found your channel and loved it - knitted the cumulus blouse also in a week and am obsessed with it!! Currently working on my sorbet cardigan as mohair really got me 🧚 also a nice sock pattern is the Brocken seed stitch sock - it’s free and combines two yarns for a great effect! Will watch your other videos now ✌️🧶🤩
Thank you so much! That's so sweet of you to say :) how great is the Cumulus Blouse! Such a quick knit and oh so satisfying :) will have to check out that sock pattern too, thanks for the recommendation! xx
I am so glad I found your podcast. I love your style and all your projects. My name is Toñi, I am from PEru, but I live near Boston in the US. OMG you really like Petite Knit, I have a few of her patterns, but I haven't knit any yet, how is that possible? I have to finish one of my projects and start one of hers. I am knitting the Rock it Tee I love it so far, however I had to almost start from zero because I picked the wrong size, any ways I hope I can knit, knit and knit. I will be going back to your previous episodes.
Thanks Toni!! Haha, I know, I went a bit overboard on the Petite Knit patterns! They’re just so easy to follow ☺️ will have to check out that tee pattern too! Always keen to find new things. Thanks for watching 🥰
Helen Stewart's sock patterns are really well written. I think a beginner sock knitter would manage hers, even the patterned ones. I'm knitting her Juniper Socks at the moment and really enjoying them.
Oh I love all of her patterns! Thank you for connecting me with those, will definitely have to try some! The Luminary Socks look gorgeous. Thanks so much for watching too! I better get cracking so I can include some in my next episode :)
Oh how great to find another lovely podcast and even a local one! Love the first episode and looking forward to seeing more.... gorgeous F/O’s!!! Pleased to meet you! 😉 regards, Birgit (“lismitantenz” on Ravelry)
Wonderful finished sweater and cast ons. All patterns I’ve had my eye on making, and I love the Magnolia sweater pattern. Need to go back and move it up higher in the queue after watching your video. 🖤
Hi there love your podcast and your finished objects. For great sock patterns you should try ... sew sweet violet ( uk). Little bobbins (uk) and the crazy sock lady (USA ) all have great sock patterns. Also Arne and Carlos from Norway just brilliant👍 good luck 💐🌈
Those are some fabulous recommendations, Julie! Thank you so much :) I have just added the Cyril Socks from Little Bobbins to my Ravelry favourites... fingers crossed I get to make some before my next episode. Thank you for your lovely kind words also xx (how great are Arne & Carlos! Love watching their episodes as I knit!)
I just found your vlog. Loved this episode! I really enjoyed seeing your gorgeous sweaters! I am knitting the no frills sweater, so I am going to watch your finished object video right away. The crazy sock lady has great sock knitting video tutorials on you tube. I just learned to knit socks on a 9 inch circular needle from her video. They have lots of helpful instruction.
Thank you so much! Glad you enjoyed it :) ooh lovely, the No Frills is such a great pattern! Thanks for the tip, will have to hunt out that video, I've seen a few of her other ones. I'm currently working on some socks with DPN's (not a magic loop fan) but they are taking me forever, haha, will see if I give up before my next episode!
I just found you! Your editing is so cute. I love all the little pop ups you have. The sweaters you have made are very very lovely. I like Petit Knits as well. I have only knit the Sunday sweater so far but I plan to make others. Just have to get through all my others I want to make first. :)
Haha, thank you! The editing always takes so long, so I'm glad someone notices the little things :) I love the Sunday Sweater! I have that pattern myself, I did make it... then I blocked it and ruined it. A bit apprehensive to make it again, but I might try the mohair version. Thank you so much for watching!
It was the Hydrate Me rinse, the one with the Kakadu plum 😭 but I don’t think it did much! Was all I had, I’d read that it might have helped but this was soooooo past it
Foxes Blog Knits You are so welcome! She has some great beginner sock tutorials that she posted this summer as part of her Summer Sock Camp that go through the entire process of sock knitting for knitting in 3 different styles as well-with corresponding patterns. Not to mention her regular designs! It’s been a really fun time
Hi there, Just a silly thing - I rather hear the word Jumper which sounds way better than sweater. Good to see a Kiwi doing a knitting pod cast.
your knits are beautiful. Very lovely soothing voice. Loved how you did the modeling of your garments.
Thank you so much Jayshree, that is such a kind compliment :) glad you are enjoying my episodes!

Thank you Birgit! Haha, always good to hear a kiwi twang on YT 😘 frantically working away on all kinds of things, can’t wait to share them 🥰

Thank you so much! Ooh yes, do! I’m so, so close to starting the lace section on my magnolia, can’t wait to see how it looks 🥰

Hi Jessica, just watched your interesting podcast. I'm curious, which Kevin Murphy conditioner do you use for softening wool?
It was the Hydrate Me rinse, the one with the Kakadu plum 😭 but I don’t think it did much! Was all I had, I’d read that it might have helped but this was soooooo past it
Check out "The Crazy Sock Lady" aka Kay Litton for some great sock patterns! All of your FOs are beautiful :)
Ooh yes! I’ve seen a few of her episodes pop up, will definitely have to check those out, good reminder! And thank you so much 🥰
