    One of the most soothing videos I've ever seen. Love that this SL8 was set up with tubes and not tubeless too.

    Awesome, always fun to watch a bike being built. I’ll look the other way on tubes being used because the rest was cool.

    素人が2つだけ言わせてもらうと1.トルクレンチは1回以上クリックすると過大にトルクがかかって危険です。1回だけです。2.shimanoのcrankは左サイドのプラスチックの増す締めボルトはきつく締めるとCrankが回らなくなります。強く締めないようにプラスチックでできているのです。

    So if you want to remove some spacers, you would have to bleed the brakes, cut the brake cable and re-fill the brake oil all over again?

    • @samuel8590
      @samuel8590 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      That depends if he left the brake cables long enough. That's the new way with these bikes.

    • @GeorgeD1
      @GeorgeD1 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      In this case...it looks like it. Other bike brands have open spacers - in two parts or just open on one end and flexible enough to open and remove from around the steerer tube, so you just need to loosen the handlebar and "open" the spacer and remove it.

    • @sbccbc7471
      @sbccbc7471 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@GeorgeD1Impossible, that's not how Specialized designed their spacers for the Tarmac SL7 and Venge V3. The spacers can definitely split open to allow cockpit height changes without recabling the entire bike. I see the split line in the front of the spacers. They're not that stupid to not design it that way.

    Does the bike have the same t47 bb as the sl7?

    • @js_cycles
      @js_cycles  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, it is a BSA threaded BB!

    • @mk-yg7op
      @mk-yg7op ปีที่แล้ว +1

      SL7 has BSA, not T47. SL8 also has BSA.

    • @mikicastan
      @mikicastan ปีที่แล้ว

      So 30 mm axle will not fit

    • @sbccbc7471
      @sbccbc7471 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@mikicastanIt will, but with the small bearings in most BSA-threaded BBs for 30 mm spindles, it's not ideal, unless that BB is a Hambini, which uses 6806 bearings, which are relatively oversized compared to its competition.

      I sold my SL7 frame set about 4 weeks ago when all the more convincing rumours started. I Should pick up my frame sometime next week and maybe even get a custom paint job like my SL7
      Gotta love new bike day 😁

    how did you determine hose length?

    • @GeorgeD1
      @GeorgeD1 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      You route the hydraulic hose, press down the handlebar fully, pull out the hose as far as it will go and then rotate the handlebar to get the tolerance to allow for free rotation of the handlebar. Then you mount the shifters roughly in place and check how much more hose you need - either insert it fully and check how much it goes into the shifter and account for that, or just...when you've done it a couple of times, there's visually a certain...curve...in the molding on the outside of the shifter which corresponds to where the hose bottoms out (it's not "official", but it's there).Then mark and cut.

    Can i know what youre putting on the crankset at 8:41 , and what at 7:59 for the bottom bracket?

  • @resmaadityaanggayuno3494
    @resmaadityaanggayuno3494 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    the back is similar to the SL6, so the maximum design for better performance is the SL6 model, it's proven that it often wins stages, in my opinion the SL8 frame is a combination of the SL8 frame and the Venge headtube

    • @konigsegg_1to1
      @konigsegg_1to1 ปีที่แล้ว

      Do you mean “combination of the SL6 frame”

    Would ❤ 2 build up an SL8 2 my own Specs . Using my 1st Generation of the Roval Rapide CLX Aero Wheelsets 51/60 Clinchers. 1400 grams . A 54 cm bike would end up around 6.6 kilos using Time Xpro 15 Pedals.
