I'd never dare to pick the wraith, in a drop that also has melter. The range is so short, they just fly in and get locked on, the second the chaff dies. He also had so many juicy targets for a level 3 carry melter. Him getting the wraith I can sorta understand, since it is good vs the wasps, and he can get melter for free, with giant spec, if you go wraith. Guess it was a final round push to get the tower scenario, and then sell it if there is another round...
total noob here, but why did you avoid melting point into little chaff and tons of large, slow units from opponent? love your guides and vids, they got me 200 more MMR in a couple days and the game is usually fun since I can compete through the first rounds.
he had 3 packs of sledges when i made the choice between scorps and melters and sledges are very good against both melers and mustang. Also i'm elite so i takes a while to get the melters to all needed positions since they cot 600
It hadn't gotten this close and elongated if you'd use your own rules. The Sabertooth was only an expensive tanking unit and too little shaff made some scorpions getting destroyed before they could fire a second shot.
"For you to feel good about the game you need to win more" The average win rate is 50%. There is no changing that. So for you to feel good about the game by winning more it also necessitates that someone else feels bad about the game by winning less. Like I get it's frustrating to be a good player and have skill based match making force into the sweatshops, but there is no good solution to this problem. There are just multiple bad choices.
Yeah, you can end up smothering the playerbase if newer players are just getting curb stomped constantly -- they just leave. Activision just put out a white paper showing that ranked match-making had a huge positive impact on player retention. When players get faced against superior opponents constantly they have shorter play sessions.
@@SurreyEZ How exactly does that solve anything? The people on the lower end of their respective bracket still lose more and get frustrated. You also get the added "benefit" of longer queue times. I dont really understand why you want to reinvent the wheel here. A simple Elo system works perfectly fine for a 1v1 game like mechabellum.
Actually thought so as well. Untill I realized when you get them out of unit cards, they really fill out the role of tank/anti tank/anti missile at the same time. They somehow work enough against storms, work against tarantulas and scorps. It's weird
"Do I ever like, build three mustangs? Probably not."
Turns out the answer is five. :P
Love the fact that "Rat" fights "Rice" a normal farmer's day xD
Great Vid as usual. Loved the Scorp play they really did some work for you
after the crazy giant nerfs for like 3 patches in a row the scorpion is starting to perform a little bit better
@@SurreyEZ which I like a lot I love the unit ^^

All this Rat stuff is working just because "the other guy" forget to UP1 buildings hp ..forever and ever :)

sure there is multiple easy solutions if wanted. Like mmr range brackets where you cant face anyone higher until you break the bracket limit

Sabertooth is so garbage that I wonder why they didn't buffed it. The best thing you can do with a Sabertooth is selling it.

it's literally the best unit from the unit cards along with fire badger
Sabertooth is great support and late tank. Have anti missle and photon cotaing . It is good early support.
Sabertooth is good into some boards, I don’t think carry saber is a good strat but it can still be a good unit in certain comps
I hate this map, so hard to see especially on my iPad with the smaller screen
