I appreciate the confidence of playing tarantulas and speed specialist given your previous thoughts about it being nonoptimal. It’s funny to say I don’t know the best counter so I’m seeing what my opponent does.
Good addition to your twitch chat might be a bot that responds to all those people who ask the beacon question (Why it's worth turning units around to face flanks for defense) or something similar to send to your video, because you do an excellent job explaining how to use the beacon to its full potential there with great examples.
well that's a question that is way too hard to answer. But with some compositions you want to be in multiple places because some counter compositions work a lot better when positioned together so you want your enemy to spread his forces also. Flanks are also mostly used to pull enemy units there so the tower will be more vulnerable when you are hard pushing from the front corners
Hey Surrey! What would be your preferred comps? Ive been loving Tarantula push, but I cant see how to pull it off consistently (And my MMR is paying the price hahaha).
Only play it with speed spec (and/or buy temp speed early on), I often play it with hackers, sabers, stangs, even farseer, and what works really well is phoenixes (charged shot, shield, quantum...) basically you want your tarantulas to be your frontline, like a tidal wave. No need for range, you want it to keep advancing and get locked by stangs, vulcans, etc. Play it like sledges (not carry sledge, front sledge), the difference is that it's more vulnerable to melting points but you get spider mines.
forgot to cut the loading screen, sorry for the suffering!

thats how you learn! Play a strategy and let the enemy come up with the solution for it
For sure one of the better games I’ve seen. The last one was very impressive

I subscribed just because I heard the dog sounds!
Speed spec is always fun, but I wish mech rage was cheaper on tarantulas.
I like to see your channel slowly picking up numbers. Keep it up!
thanks for the kind words
Yusssss: that's their one weak stat: therefore, it must be the key to everything.
Round 7 Phoenix save came in clutch!
Hey. I am new to mechabellum. Do you always position your units forward? And how do you recognise when to use flanks?

I wish a ranked mode without unit drops, with bans and same balanced specialists for both players
Interesting techs on tarantulas, vs what do you use healing on tarantulas? did you ever run both shield and reg?
armor vs mustang typhoon vulcan, regen if the enemy is too far behind on everything or tries to counter them with like storms or marksmen
10FPS bombardment!
Everytime i play Tarantula they get hackerman :(
what are the benefits of turning the mustangs backwards?
