I was going about 110mph getting ready to slam my car into a pillar when this song came on and had me second guessing what I was about to do. My brother called me near the end of the song and talked simple words of love and appreciation. This song literally saved my life. I just lost my first child and my fiance left me shortly after I had come home from deployment to Afghanistan. It took me years to rebuild myself but had it not been for POD coming on the radio on a September Friday night 7 years ago I wouldn't be here. I now have 2 beautiful happy children and a woman who treats me well. My post-traumatic stress has turned into post-traumatic growth. Thank you for the years and years of good music. I've been listening to you guys since the early 2000s when I was a kid in San Diego! Love your music.

Never been a big POD fan, but every person on earth needs to listen to this song and really take it to heart.
i was sitting in my room with a rope in my hand ready to end it all, i had my radio playing still and this song came on, i thought it was over that night. and this song was why i stopped. it made all of the things i would miss out on run through my head. i was 12, i wouldn’t have made it to highschool. i wouldn’t be where i am today. just know that you have purpose to your life, and you are here for a reason. your life may seem like shit now but it will get better, no matter how much you tell yourself that nobody wants you here and nobody cares about you, there is always someone. live life to its fullest, make it fun while it lasts.
Celebrate that despite everything that has happened in your life, you are still here which means there are still possibilities for good things to happen and chances to connect with others, to help inspire someone to stick around a little longer despite how impossible it seems to look beyond the current circumstances or trauma. Was at the POD new tour for Veritas this past Saturday night (5/4/2024) in Colorado Springs, CO and they played this song. It was so so powerful. The whole place was singing it. Thank you for writing such a beautiful song and sharing it with us live. Great moment at a great show!
I saw them on Thursday this past week and they performed this song and I'm in tears just closing my eyes thinking about how sunny Play the song was so much emotion.

I used to self harm, because I never really had a reason to live anymore. I remember when this song first came out, and I remember listening to it over and over, because it gave me encouragement to keep going. 2 years of not hurting myself. It'll be 3 in January. But I started to feel really sad earlier today, and I looked up this song, and here I am, listening to it over and over again. Thank you to P.O.D. for writing such an amazing song, a song that still touches my heart to this day. A song that reminds me that my pain and sadness will end someday and that everything will be okay. Thank you for encouraging me to keep going in life

Wow, I started listening to POD back in 98, 99 something like that. I was just divorced and had custody of our at the time 10 yr old son. We went to church and listened to POD and now at the present I cant say I have any of their music on file. I have not even heard them in years. But looking at the Cascade Ticket calendar (northwest) I see they are coming to PDX. So I came here to see whats new with them, I heard this some and just started to cry for some reason. 7 years living abroad.. despite many attempts I have no friends. Got cheated on and abandoned by people I tried to befriend with. The silence and loneliness is abismal. I love this song. First time I heard it was in a church. At a rehab. I use to struggle. I never forgot it and look it up and jam it from time to time. 5 yrs now almost clean. Did this song save my life? Not mine. But it sure didn't hurt it. Seems it's been a life saver for alot of other people though. It's a really good song.

Bobby Reeves apparently the song has been out since mid-2013. Apparently the radio didn't think people would like to hear such an amazing song and it really offends me. One of my favorite things about music videos has always been watching the band and seeing how and why this song sound the way it does (what instruments are being played and how). Watching the guy play the virtual drum machine on his iPad gave me such a specific kind of joy that I don't know if anyone else feels.
My dad showed me this song when i was little. I had a really rough patch and did some terrible things, but i made it out the other side in one piece. I rediscovered this song recently and i am seeing the beautiful irony in my dad having shared it with me so young, long before anything happened
I come back to this song and video every now and again and ball my eyes out. The marriage of visuals, storytelling and music/lyrics is, in fact, the definition of beautiful. In a sea of music videos, its flawless. Granted, it hits me hard on a personal level, but great job POD! Love you guys!

This was my middle school boyfriend’s song for me when I was 13, depressed, and had a lot of self confidence issues. He downloaded it onto my phone and told me to listen to it and think of him whenever I didn’t feel beautiful.

I really like POD. They know how to preach without being offensive. Biblical Christianity was clearly revealed in the written Word of God yet how is it that men and women pretend that God is far away or can't be understood. Many people allow their philosophical presuppositions to prevent them from understanding what God offers yet they are experts on the subject on the internet. Such a pity that Christians who happen to be musicians are so scrutinized and grilled by the same people who claim to be so "open minded" in the name of diversity and tolerance don't you know. Your confusion about God is self imposed and validates the statement from Jesus Christ Himself that Christians will be hated for my names sake. So much for tolerance and diversity that is always nothing more than a one way street in the end.
Other The world is a big place and not everyone believes what you do. There are a lot of different types of religion and there are even people like me who don't believe in organized religion at all. We are not confused about God, we just don't believe in him. Go build yourself an ark and sail over it babe.

This song brings back a lot of memories to me. As a kid, used to be bullied, didn't have many friends, parents didn't give me much time, but one of the few friends that I had over that time showed me this song. Now, life has been way nicer to me, and listening to this song makes tears fall from my face, because indeed, that suffering ended one day
