      Thanks so much, it's a little bit different from my weekly Shanghai vlogs, but it's these travel ones that I enjoy making the most 😊❤

    We've been to Sanya China back in 1998 beautiful beaches just like Hawaii we've been there many times by boat or by plane.

    lots of lovely places and beaches. it is good for people wanting to holiday within China because they can experience tropical beaches without needing passports, visas etc. A £50 meal and you were not even full. I enjoyed this trip, I feel as though I had a wee break too 👍😀

    • @ExpatNatt
      @ExpatNatt  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes exactly, it was a very easy journey to get there. Hainan does have slightly different visa requirements so if you book through a group tour some passports don’t require a visa which is great to know when the borders reopen! It’s good to note that not everywhere is that expensive! ☺️☺️

    Nice to see a little bit more honesty in a vlog. Been in Hainan since the start of September, spent a week in Lingshui and now based in Sanya. Hawkers all over the beach and always seem to make a beeline towards me being a 6'4 westerner, and yes, some of the "popular" tourist spots get stupidly busy too. We've noticed a difference in pricong too when they see me, compaired to when my Chinese wife is on her own...😅 Still trying to find a nice snorkeling area close to Sanya, any recommendations? As Sanya beach is a bit muddy/murky water tbh, due to being close to the river estuary.

    That coral beach part in your video kind of reminded me of the shoreline up in the north of Western Australia, where pristine coral beaches stretch tens of miles along the sun-baked Gobi desert. People are just so amazed how mother nature could create such beautiful landscapes.

    • @ExpatNatt
      @ExpatNatt  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Funny you should say that, I was just researching Western Australia a few hours ago and someone had shared a beautiful coral beach there and it reminded me of Hainan! (I’m forever planning adventures I’ll probably never have hahah)

    You have been to so many cities in China, which city in China do you like the most?

    • @ExpatNatt
      @ExpatNatt  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      That’s a really tough question! I love everywhere I have been but for different reasons. The climate in Hainan is wonderful and the best for beaches, but the mountains of Guangxi are wonderful. For traditional Chinese villages, Lishui is very nice. But ultimately Shanghai will always have my heart as I think it is very beautiful and it’s a very convenient place to live with good transport links to other places 🥰

    great video... can you share how did you get into hainan? have you heard 30 days visa-free stay ? we are thinking about doing that . but quiet nervous .. thanks

    • @ExpatNatt
      @ExpatNatt  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We actually live in China so have visas which allow us to travel in and out of China and to different regions so didn’t need to apply for visas. Hainan does have a 30 day visa free exception but I believe you have to book the tour through certain accredited travel/tourism companies. You could check your governments website for Hainan for more information on how to get there visa free.

      The English is Chuanzhong Road, 5th Alley and Yingbin Road intersection if that helps you to put it in the map. About half way between Sanya railway station and Linchunling Forest Park. I think the area is Jiyang? It’s the Guangchang branch. Hope that helps!
