Helper cab rides on Pennsylvania's West Slope. The audio is dubbed, nor did I make any edits other than to remove a couple rough spots in the film. Constant recording wasn't possible because the 50' reels of Super 8mm film that went in cameras only lasted about 3 1/2 minutes.

Thanks for sharing this. I wish we still lived in an era when freight cars weren’t defaced with spray paint vandalism. I have pictures of trains at horseshoe curve in ‘92 & in the cars still looked clean.

It's nice to see what MO looked like back then with the Pennsy Signals. Especially the eastbound signals mounted on the bridge carrying the jump over track across the mainline. I find that very unique.
