I visited the church at JPUSA before this song was released. Glenn led it that morning, and after the service, he kindly gave me the lead sheet. I currently serve as a missionary church planter in Hungary. I had the song translated into Hungarian. We sang it at our church this last Sunday. If we could just find ourselves every day in the presence of our father . . . There’s nothing we can do but surrender. Thanks Glenn four a great song, and years of faithful service. You’ve been a role model to me.

I remember hearing this song in the late 80s or early 90s, but it says it was recorded in 2020. I hope it will be sung at my funeral because it's my favorite song.
This particular version was recorded in 2020. The song was originally recorded and released in 1993 on Glenn's 'All My Days' worship album.
It was one of our favorite worship songs in the youth group. It has beautiful melodies and powerful lyrics. I always enjoy seeing people's reactions when they hear this song; they're often blown away. Then, I let them listen to "Military Man" and tell them it's by the same singer. Ha ha!

What an awesome Worship and Praise song to God Out Father!! The shirts I purchased from Grrr, (Exegesis) I can feel that in this song! Bro Glenn and Sister Wendi are a shining example of what a Christian married couple should be. Through ups and downs, better or worse, they’re still standing together ! I first saw them in 1986 as “ Rez Band “ in Baton Rouge,La. that was back when someone like me coming from AC/DC bands like that. I found them accidentally, I looked at the cover of the album, asked the manager what type was this, he said some crazy heavy metal Christian band, played it and Waalaa I WAS HOOKED! I’m sorry for this long comment but I just wanted to let everyone know how much of an impact these guys have had in my life!!

@@mrs.hatfield1451 I love Glenn’s new calmer style! One of my favorite REZ songs was sung by Wendi Kaiser ,”The House is on Fire”!! When I was in early 30’s when I discovered Christ died for my sins I became a Christian! A few months later My X wife and I would drive in the country, windows rolled down with REZ BAND Blaring windows rolled down Praising God!!!
