Why would anyone look at the ball at all when on the ground … it’s not the bottom of your swing. Staring at the ball simply creates a mandate to hit AT the ball. It’s a big part of the fats and the thins and becoming ball bound. Wanna move your low point forward and hit the ball off the ground with a descending blow, ball then divot? Then pick out a spot on the turf an inch or two in front of the ball and look at that. That’s where you want the club to go into the turf, yes? Don’t worry, your brain knows where the ball is. You don’t need to look at it. The ball will just get in the way of your swing, which is ideal.
