Who else was more scared òf the world we live in by the time they finished the part 2 of this podcast episode?
The book recommendations for project management, cyber defense, and the one for all blacks was really good. Will scout them.
What i think i liked most was the revised commissioning process that was suggested.
- Everyone goes to BMT as a leveler
- Everyone enlists for at least 2yrs before smelling a commissionning slot
- Everyone goes to a OTS for 6months to check if they have leadership qualities while also going through their trade school to learn what it looks like to do the job in which they'd command men later on.
- Everyone gets at least 6yrs combined(2lt+1lt) to spend more time sharpening their hands on the actual job they learnt the trade of at OTS, and by the time they make Captain, theyre both technically skilled and ready to become good leaders of their particular trade.
My question is what woukd it take to effect this, US congress or do they need other nations to decide amd agree on this change of time on rank before the implemented can begin?
I think it will be great if this becomes the norm in the near future.
I also think for SOF, they shoukd be promoted to warrant officers and retired as that since they're technical experts in their trade.

This is the position I would try to commission for. I'm currently Cyber Transport. I went to graduate school for IT and I have my security+. I learned Java and SQL. What other certifications and training should I do before trying to commission? I have also heard my base they will start training us as 1D's. Also I'm new to my guard base so I'm still learning our tasks, I haven't taken on additional responsibilities yet.

there ya go. focus on that instead of the certifications. won't make any difference if you don't pass the AFOQT.
