    Hello fellow upholster! My father has been running his upholstery shop for the last 50 years and I've learned so much from him and hopefully will be taking the family ropes soon. I am so scared to be in my own but want nothing more to make his business bigger. I will be watching your videos for help when ever I need it! I have plans to do similar videos of my pieces too! Hope there's a audience 🙏

    Amazing how much corner-cutting measures mass produced products are these days. I was always taught, "buy good, buy once". You made the product much better now Neil.

      That’s exactly it! It might be more expensive to purchase but it will last so much longer and save money in the long run. Thanks a lot for watching Michael!

    You make it look so simple...but i know it's not. I have a 1950's wooden frame armchair similar to one you've restored. I believe it's Italian since i live in italy. I wish you could restore it! Nice channel.

    Your videos keep popping up for me and I am finally really watching through them to learn (not just randomly for entertainment lol), and I am amazed at how well you teach. And your humor keeps everything so entertaining too. Anyway thank you so much for providing this content. I don't think many people know how long it can take to set up camera angles, transfer footage, edit etc... such a feat. I'd love to see a dedicated video on how to properly strip furniture (the old upholstery) off. Like maybe some tips and tricks as to not damage the furniture/or to see what is still salvageable. Anyway, love the content, new subscriber for sure.

    @FaceliftInteriors thanks for the lesson. Turned out good. I understand putting material over the back of the straps...but why velvet and not hessian? That stuff is expensive!
    Can you please tell me what is the make and model of the stapler, compressor and what ever that cool cutter for the foam is.
    Also what is the metal strip you used for the back.

    • @faceliftinteriors
      @faceliftinteriors  14 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Thanks so much.
      I have loads of left over fabric so sometimes velvet will do a better job than hessian as its stretchers!
      Gun - BEA
      Compressor- Bambi pt24
      Foam cutter - Bosch Gsg 300 foam cutter
