Great input 👍 I tested the rear wheel drive in Montréal years ago. That fat wheel really grabs into potholes and hits small curbs had. Since then I have seen them breaking in the front. The wheel shattering the curved wheel support part of frame. The replacement parts are not cheap, they sell reinforcement kits. But apart from the damage you must consider the potential accident in traffic. In 2024 it is outdated.
I just recieved my Mercane Widewheel Pro yesterday and it is a complete monster of a scooter. It completely exceeded all of my expectations. I live in an area with many hills and let me tell you that thing conquers them all with little to no effort. I also weigh about 200lbs and all this has been in ECO mode. I honestly have to say im kinda nervous to put it into sport or power mode what ever you call it. I highly highly recommend this scooter to anyone. The one thing that takes a bit getting use to is the wide wheels and slightly wide turn radius. Other than that solid scooter with fantastic brakes and great durability. Sorry for long review, just hope this helps someone in the market.
I agree it’s a very powerful scooter and hasn’t been beaten by any of the hills here either. I’ve even tried it with two people on and it still climbs any gradient.

Most chargers will show a green light, even though their still charging. I recommend you put a watt meter between the wall outlet and the charger. Those last few percent of charging are important for balancing the battery. Let your batteries take power till the watt meter says 1 watt or less.
Actually you don't want to charge the last ~5% or use it down near 5% ether, that's what will reduce the longevity of the battery the most. As long as the "bms" watches for over discharge properly you don't want to top balance batteries.
I got a Kugroo Kirin S1 and that is similar to a Xiaomi back in August except it’s more easy to maintain then a Xiaomi and it has zero start though not as powerful as the widewheel but it goes the same speed as a normal Xiaomi so that’s cool for someone who commutes in a city.

Be honest though, after your initial ride do you prefer the scooter or your Boosted board? I can imagine your board is lighter to carry and a little bit more portable to fling in a boot. Keep up the vids mate and look after yourself.
I got one, and use it for my daily commute.. It's awesome! The only complaint is how the front tire tends to slide side to side on the rim. But otherwise...
Those are definitely a blast but I prefer a bike more, it's literally true that you never forget how to ride a bike but I just recently got a Razor mx650 w/ a 48v 1600w motor and it's literally like riding a super fast 110cc dirtbike... It's probably the geometry of the frame but it's a ripper and I like that better than scooters but I wouldn't turn down a free one or even a ride on one of the 72v 5000w ones that do 60moh+.
@@takeover08 For sure, it`s a joy to ride :) The suspension is good in smothing out bumps along the way as well. Great power here and it`s able to drag me up 20% hils in about 10-12 Km/h of speed. All in all great fun all the way.

Some times the HALL sensor detect resets on the Sabvoton controller. It can be a phase wire that's loose or cut. Either way, any stuttering will eventually burn your motor if it hasn't already and it's just a matter of time when it will blow smoke out the housing.

I have a new twizy you made a diy battery with a inverter to charge the twizy really cool like it but is there a way to put a mppt charge controler in there to directly charge the twizy with 4 or 5 unfoldable solar cells??!? The idea of having a bit of extra gas with you is great but even that battery will be depleted at some point ^^

Thats what I have dual 1500 watt motors. I switched my battery from 60v to a 72v 21700 cells and dual phase runner controllers, I've almost greased my shorts a few times trying to hit top speed. lol

NOTHING is waterproof on this scooter lol. Any slight inspection you can tell that, battery cover exposed, no seals anywhere, wiring is all exposed. Take it in the rain so you can pawn it off, youre riding off road so that speaks for itself. First thing i heard when I turned off the video due to total rubbish review.
@@fgtita EBikes are legal up to 250 watts in the UK , at the moment E--Scooters are not legal in the UK , they are going on test soon but only for hire companys , I have well looked into e scooters I have 2 myself a 250 watt and a dual motor 3000 watt . even Halfords on their own website tells you the scooters are for use on private land only.

You can unlock the speed by pressing brake and two button on the screen then P1 would be the one to change from 00 to 01 to unlocked.
Scooters are great, I got a secondhand Inokim Ox, it’s only RWD but has full suspension and it’s a game changer !
Max speed is 26, you have to pull the brake, and push the power and light button to unlock the speed limiter

Watch the bolts on the stem. I lost a bunch as they rattled loose. I have since replaced them and used lock tite

For off road the Solar P1 is better. The wide wheel is absolutely fine in the rain. The build quality is very good.
