Having had the experience to stay in this castle i can back up Clisare, its an amazing place to stay and Peters storys are amazing, we where lucky enough to add another story to his list, the stair case while small is so unique, only for covid we would have returned a few more times since and plan to once it all calms down, thanks for this great video for a host and venue that turely deserve all the credit they can get
I had forgotten how small the staircases were in the Irish castles we visited. This video brought back of FLOOD of great memories from my trip to the Emerald Isle almost 13 years ago! Thank you for opening the floodgates :)
Googled images of castle. I've been on a break art-wise since lockdown started in December here in Alberta, Canada. I saved a picture, and might paint it eventually. Thanks for the idea. Others look at the castle as a place to visit. I look at as a thing to draw!
Wow...I am watching this, on my 44th birthday, in a cabin with my fiancè Peter and I just enjoyed this immensely...the castle, song, all of that! Thank you soo much Clare for doing these air b&b. Watching your shows, the Tryers makes us even more anxious to travel over there! Just looks soo gorgeous over there. Slàinte!
This looked so nice! I shared this on my Pinterest Board so hopefully it will get a few hits from there. Who wouldn't want to watch a video about spending time in a real Irish Castle?
i am very impressed with this vlog: the premises, your introduction, the obvious appreciation you and your husband feel for the place, that handsome young man with the incredible voice. I thoroughly enjoyed this vlog. And your dog is too cute, too.
EOTW0021 it's a tower castle, very typical for Ireland. All the native family clans had them, Jeremy irons lives in one not far from me. The more typical British type castles were built by the Normans
Clare I’m so excited for this series! I plan on watching every one. I was so heartbroken that your Bucketlist Book never made it off the ground, but If it ever does I will buy one right away! I have been following you from your early days on TH-cam and I just love your content. Happy new year and blessings!
Another great video Clare - complements the Vlogmas episode when this was filmed perfectly 😀😀😀. And sure it wouldn't be an ole @Clisare vid without that blue WKD 😂😂. Some lovely shots of Millie in this video as well 😍😍😍😍
Greetings from South Florida. Such an awesome vid Clare, without a doubt one of my favorite. My wife Shari and I have 🇮🇪 on our bucket list and couldn't think of a better experience than staying in a real castle. Would be a great "Storytime" episode if you had Peter on to tell his story about how he came about owning a castle. Much love Best regards Frank and Shari💞
Due to learning the right way to say TG4 in my study of Gaeilge, my mind keeps thinking of 'ceathair' Castle instead of Cather Castle. :P It looks so cozy inside and I saw on the world map there were also a lot of pins from the West Coast of North America. If I ever add a pin on there myself someday it'll be all because of your video, so thank you for making it!
Always wanted to go to Ireland. Me and the wife are planning a tour sometime next year. Hopefully, COVID is under control and we can travel around for a few weeks.
Loving this series. I don't know if you are taking suggestions but if you are then look into the Kerry Dark Sky reserve, basically the Iveragh Peninsula. I've been looking into it for a while and am hoping to have a small family get away there once we're allowed to travel again. There were nights with telescopes organised by the tourist office too (that are on hold) but even without a telescope or binoculars it's meant to be stunning. I've read it's best to time a trip around a new moon to get the best view of the stars.
1st : I like this video about the castle better then the first one 2nd : my husband would be 100% obsessed with cracking the safe, not even for the free stay just for the point of doing it
'm in love with about everything of this video! thank you! jeeez now i miss ireland so much again :( an galway. Was there last year got to experince the alst day of open Pubs in Galway sand celebrated St.Patricks Day in a hostel in COrk :D miss it anyway :(
I love this series so much! One note, Clare, be careful that your narration doesn't turn out too flat and obvi-scripted. You seemed a bit monotone in this video and it's a shame your personality couldn't come through a bit more like it does during the vlog clips!
Amazing! Gay Friendly? When we settle on a date we agreed to Ireland as our honeymoon. i'm 47 he's 56. We aren't looking for Gay Night Life and don't need to be out and about but we also don't want to feel we need to hide the fact that we are married and in love and want to experience Ireland.
So I think I need a 24 hour break. I had a dream I was your host in what seems to be an amalgamation of some random East coast american cities plus some old British cities. You were hungry and picked of all places a fish and chips bar. This was all surrounded by other TH-cam people in the background. Lots of running around. What?? Lol

Don’t stop these! I’m coming to Ireland when the COVID calms down!
So there is a castle in ireland with a handsome bard living there who sings love songs...oh peter is going to be booked for the next few years.
A handsome bard named brad 😜
I was thinking the same lol
Absolutely love this series! Can’t wait to try some of these once we can travel again! The castle is gorgeous😍
The song "Half the Woman" to put in Irish terms... was BRILLIANT! Very gifted young man.

Yaaay! Thank you for sharing your experience. Brad is so amazing!
So in love with this series. I get to live vicariously through you, Alex and Millie.
what a beautiful voice! Looked like a nice time!
So cool Clare! And that musician...wow! Will definitely share:)
Hope you guys are keeping safe with all the madness! x

Im also from Alberta. We’ve got some great art and historic buildings here too :) 🎨 I mean, we’ve got Mountains, glaciers, lakes,beaches…..🏔
A castle. An effin castle. I've only been on the outside of a Swedish castle in Goteborg. Ireland is definitely on the bucket list.
MOAR castle! Thank you Claire!

I've never pinned a video to my Pinterest bucket list so fast! Thanks, Claire this was lovely 💖
Nice video
This looks so amazing!!
awesome video, great info and the singing was great,
Ooohhh this looks so charming!
So bizarre to see Brad pop up in the video all of a sudden! He used to busk in my town years ago, I remember seeing him around a few times.
I love seeing the land of my ancestors! One day I hope to go and experience Ireland for myself!!
Castle looks less like the typical castle....still looks cool. I do like the adventure of it.
EOTW0021 it's a tower castle, very typical for Ireland. All the native family clans had them, Jeremy irons lives in one not far from me. The more typical British type castles were built by the Normans
Can't wait for the madness to away so I can resume my wanderlust.
Keep doing what you do !
Love love love!!

Oh, now I see why we didn't get the full description! Yes, I'd seen they were neither dog nor child friendly, so I wondered
LOVE!!!!!!!

I Knew the custodian of that castle. Smoked a few spliffs on there a couple of times. Strange place.

I'm definitely taking suggestions! That sounds like something for the Irish Bucket List series!
1st : I like this video about the castle better then the first one
2nd : my husband would be 100% obsessed with cracking the safe, not even for the free stay just for the point of doing it
The first one was a behind the scenes vlog, this was always the proper episode of eire bnb 🏰
Can't wait for my trip there!!! Its now been put off until 2022 Damn covid!!

WKD in a goblet.
Did you know Tonic Water glows in the dark using ultraviolet light?
What was the name of this castle? I couldn’t catch it. Thanks!
Caher Castle. 🏰 link is in the description!
Wishing 🤗😍
This is the castle right beside my house
i know it was gifted to you but do you have pricing? it looks divine!
Pricing is in the description and the pinned comment, it was €160 a night and can have up to four people for that price (2 double beds) 😊
@@Clisare thanks doll! keep up the entertainment and information! we in the states need it about now! 🤦♀️🍹🍹🤣
4:46 He sounds a bit like Nick Drake
❤
People were Clare-Sized in the Middle Ages, so the staircase was no problem for you, I’m sure! 💗

Ouch 😂 I'll keep it in mind
@@Clisare I say it with love!!!! 💕💕
In spite of the wonderful fir, poor Millie Beans did look sad
That map seems to show that many Canadians have been there, or it could be that the Americans just ran out of room and put their pins in Canada.
What is with the aisles and... butt?? Why?!?!
What? Do you mean the marble arse at the top! Its a joke. (Clearly?) it’s a loss take of the Blarney Stone?

you should've asked Brad to sing Castle on the Hill by Ed Sheeran bec you were staying in a castle on the hill 💙
Then I would have gotten a copyright strike 😆
@@Clisare oh yeah sorry I forgot but it would've been awesome though right
