Base is legit !!! Concept it’s simple yet it’s commanding. I like it. I like it a lot !!!

Well that is one fantastic looking sculpt of Thanos with lady death. Yea they could have made his portrait a little better but the concept of the piece as a whole is great. From the base to the characters help make the story line pop beautifully. Love this sculpt and am going to try to get one.

At first I thought the XM Thanos and Lady Death statue was better but after watching your review I find the custom Thanos/Lady Death statue is equally as good because of the switch outs and the unique base. I think this is a must have if you like Thanos and can afford it!

I have this one and I love it. Yes there are better thanos statues out there but I love how the made him more of an athletic build rather then short and stumpy. Great review 🤘
That base is awesome. Really adds to the statue. Looks so cool. I need to start to read the infinity wars omnibuses. I have them but no time to read them. 😞
I like the pose the two of them are in it mirrors their relationship perfectly. I wish they could have incorporated Lady Death in the MCU too. Be Excellent.
MCU only fans would have cried trying to wrap their heads around hela and lady death difference and there would be tons of videos on it online,so probably no thanks

I love the paint the blue on thanos is great! Statue is 10/10 for me so much detail and little hidden easter eggs. About the movies though I do really wish they would have gone with the comic storyline more I also hate they changed some of the "Gems" like the Aether haha that was so stupid.

I think it is a great statue for displayability. I love the base, i was watching on my phone but when you pointed out the spiderman skeleton i believe one of the other skeletons is iron man from the mark 1 iteration of his suit.

So in the comics there was Thanos Quest before the Infinity Gauntlet storyline. He went around and got the gems mainly from the Elders of the Universe like the Gardener, Runner, Collector and Grandmaster. The Infinity Gauntlet story is the main showdown with Thanos and the Marvel superheroes, the latter dying in specific ways(unlike this but that's ok). I have a lot of issues with this statue. First off, I don't see "the story" in the base... there's a hooded figure who I think is Lady Death. The other character I can't tell who it is, and I just see maybe another arm coming off the middle. No clue. Lady Death rebuked Thanos a lot and he created Terraxia... so it's a bit weird to me seeing her cosy up to him. She also had pink skin which is a miss for me here. The left/right gauntlets were the same aside from the gems, and so it's weird seeing an exposed fist. The face paint needs to be redone... not sure what happened there. Looks a bit MvCi. In the IG comics he looks like he has dark eye sockets with occasional white glowing pupils/irises(not related to the omniscience). And the gems look like arcade buttons with the surrounding area the same colour as the gems... that really needs to be repainted gold if it's ever displayed with the lights off. I'm a bit critical but other than that it's decent... I do like a lot of things about it like the gold and blue paint and Lady Death's dress.
Hopefully when silver surfer shows up in the mcu he will mention his fights with thanos or something like that
Love Brolin, however this comic accurate portrayal syncs more with me. Love the Lady plot a he'll of another better too.
Love the concept on this one, it appears like Lady Death is protecting Thanos / helping him. If I collected Thanos, I would definitely want this statue.

I agree with ur comments Death's portraits could've been better. Surprised they didn't have a 2nd portrait for Thanos. Overall though I think the statue is a mid-high 4/5 especially with the details this group puts in🔥🔥🔥👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Love the base and the detail in death's outfit. The light up feature could have been better but thats minor.
Lady death's dress is stunning, the detail in the pattern I think I see a few skulls which is really cool. Plus, I think its unique that this statue is comic based over the more realistic/movie pieces. Its nice seeing this option for such a popular character. The base is cool, it reminds me of that large Thor statue, it makes me wonder if we'll see more comic statues following this design element, I think its super fitting for comic-based statues.

Great statue, but I definitely like the XM better. Still an awesome piece though, congrats! Edit - as the review went on, I like this a lot better than my initial thoughts, still would take XM, but this is a really cool statue!
I'm actually surprised you didn't make a joke that it look like she was reaching for his junk LOL. His face is definitely off to me also that's the only thing about the whole statue that I wish was a little different or had different switchouts for that portrait. So since you were saying how tall he supposed to be in the comics I was thinking you and Mrs X could definitely pull this off for Halloween since you're tall

I remember this one and the head is the weak point and I don't think just paint. It certainly pair with a nice comic Lady Death. I wish her expression show "meh" which keep Thanos does what he does.

I’ll be that geek to tell you that Thanos actually does want to kill half the universe to preserve the other half IN ADDITION TO pleasing lady death. Read Silver Surfer v3 #35.
But I can’t blame you for not knowing or forgetting, since Jim Starlin himself even forgot in an interview around the time the Infinity War movie came out!

Really like the base on this one, but the higher we go in the statue, the less I like it (especially their faces throw me off). Conceptually I agree it's one of the better Thanos statues out there.
It’s a cool statue, but I’ve seen a lot of better Thanos statues. Including the XM version that you talked about as well.
I loved Josh Brolins take on Thanos. Plus goth chicks are hot. Who is more goth than death? Maybe morticia addams?
there's something to be said for a statue that looks like an artist made it as opposed to copied/printed from a 3D asset. Do you think they could have won over the casual Marvel movie fan if they had included this original storyline, or was it too farfetched/abstract?

I talk about them in alot of videos. Have bought dozens of pieces from them. It takes years to manufacture a statue. No matter where you buy it, it takes that long.

The sculpt on her dress is amazing, I think the half skull portrait is the best on her. The Thanos face is Meh
