Thanos Custom Statue? Lady Death Included? Yes, Please!!!

- We are going to unbox yet again another Thanos. I love Thanos thats why I have a few of them on PO. I got both MCU and Comic version of Thanos, and even blends of both.
So this is a custom statue / fan art statue / unlicensed statue of Thanos and Lady Death. Yes this is a diorama at the same time a museum type statue. Scale is 1/4 or quarter scale. It does have a light up feature for the infinity gauntlet.
Comes with the following switch-outs:

-1x Death Portrait with Flesh looking at the side

I like the idea of the base but it would need to be repainted and possibly re-sculpted in areas. I'm a little confused why death came with 4 headsculpts and Thanos came with just that one, which is average at best. I have SS ToT exclusive, XM Thanos/death exclusive, and iron studios infinity war thanos and all the headsculpts on those are vastly superior. Imo this Thanos is a great first iteration especially with deaths details but the price would have to reflect its imperfections and design flaws. I would definitely own this piece at the right price.
I actually thought there were 2 death portraits. Haha. Oh wells. The thanos isn't bad but yeah i would have wanted an extra one for options

how does this compare to the xm thanos? which would you get if you had the choice just for one
They are very different and very hard to compare. Since this one is very comic accurate and the sculpt is really good. While the xm ones modern take is also pretty good although very out of scale. I would say it depends on which direction your collection is going. But the sculpt on xm is definitely the superior one as well as the quality. So i guess id give my vote to xm because its an overall winner

I measured him and hes about right. Its just that xm is so big like its almost 1/3

A repaint on the base would bring that statue to the next Ivl. Some color on the costumes.
Unfortunately the “next level” is average.
@Steven Loube yeah there are some really nice dynamic Thanos but all in for a museum piece with Death its great.

Man, this statue was such a mess. Fan of Thanos, he looks really good but Death looks terrible. The way she’s kinda wrapped around him but doesn’t actually touch is just a really poor design. Not a fan of the base at all, good concept badly executed.
I was actually expecting her to touch thanos. Its not really noticeable anyway when looking at the front.
