My friend made one for his 15 years ago out of some 12mm ply and some bonnet hinges, weighed a ton 😂

Yeah, those brackets really look sloppy, but I guess there is no other alternative w/o drilling. Look excellent tho. 🙂

This is a very divided topic, some people love the patina, some are desperate to have it painted!

I've just fitted mine. Generally very impressed but the brackets just don't fit how I feel they should. They aren't the prettiest, either. Tempted to rivnut and bolt it down.

Riv nuts would work for a cleaner install when fitted, but the brackets are good in the sense theres no holes needing to be drilled in the body. Thanks for watching 😁

The caddy needs a nice paint job. Unless the owner is going for beaten up look.
