Thanks for keeping on with the videos. the Scirocco vid helped me a ton in understanding how to hide wires, and the caddy helped me in planning for my future air ride install.
Just a bit of a US-Spec loo thing. I think they are technically ok as long as they dont interfere with indicator operation, just like you see Van's with amber marker lights down the side. Thanks for watching 😁
Regarding the bulb holder, if they need to last, you should get them printet out of abs/asa or a engineering filament like nylon. I have personally have had good experiences with Spectrum ASA 275 with open printers
The maker of the file recommended abs because of the possible heat factor. I'll see how they do in testing, we've only printed in pla before but shouldnt be to much trouble to do a set in abs. Thanks for watching 😁
@SuperRon abs and asa are practically the same, I favor asa as I have read that they are easier to print (depending on brand) and should have more uv resistance
We're still in the development stage, may still reprint these in abs. They're not directly in a splash zone, the factory plugs aren't waterproof, and the sealing rings are only foam not rubber. But may put a dab of sealer where the wires come out to stop any condensation in the lenses. Thanks for watching 😁
@@SuperRon The originals are IP69K rated with the rubber sleeves at the rear and the foam at the front. Designed to prevent condensation & debris. My initial wording of waterproof was incorrect, I should have said condensation proof 👍👍
I’ve got a couple I need to get rid of Ron. One’s a Prusa mini with input shaping and revo quick change nozzle and an ender 3 pro with ender extender upgrade amongst other upgrades
Great idea with the bulb holders . Going to download this myself
Thanks for watching 😁
Out of interest, will you be producing these? Sadly I don’t have access to a 3D printer 😢
@jackreddick6302 it's a bit frowned upon because although you can download them for free you shouldn't sell them for commercial use

Awesome 3D printing. Always would why you see BMW and VW group driving with all indicators on, on UK roads and would how they passed a MOT.

Beautiful work Ron! I just love simple and informative videos. Perfect!

@madschristensen272 thanks for the advice 👍
If you have issues with heat have some one with an enclosed printer print them out in ABS and that should hold up with no issues.
Yes that is going to be plan b! Thanks for watching 😁
Superb work buddy. Shame to see it come to an end, you'll have to get some more old dubs in to work on 👌🏻
The next few are already que'd up dont worry 😁
Great work as usual, so glad you didn't give up with the channel. Looking forward to the next project. Astra?😆💪
Plenty of other projects lined up to film, probably not the astra just yet 🤣 thanks for watching 😁
Cheap fix, but they need water proofing otherwise they soon corrode.

Yes I agree 👍
We need a newer 3d printer, in my opinion, so we can do things faster and more accurately before we can do more like this.
😂 ok Super Ron Jr
