Great video and very helpful as I am planning to program a new key for my 16 GT. Quick question - I saw you program a new key on a kye blade which has a red key case with buttons on it. That one seems not a Maserati key but a different kind. Can you tell me what brand is it and where do you get it from? Also XP400 seems has a function to train just transponder (the small hole next to key slot), do you need to use that to train maserati key fob's transponder? Thanks first.
That key with the red thing on it is just a transponder shell. Yes, you can use that small hole or you can just put the key in the big hole is the same
I'm a locksmith here in Chicago and I'm trying to get a blank for that car I've called UHS they don't have it Midwest keyless doesn't have it and transponder Island doesn't have it I'm trying to do a 2015 Granturismo with my autel
I'm confused. I noticed you didn't need to use the XP400? I have a new key with board and transponder. How did you add a key without programing the transponder. I never did this before so please correct me if I'm missing something.
@@legacylocksmith7874 wow… that is incredible. So I have two working keys and I just want to add a key. I use the im508 functions and follow your instructions to add a new key. It is not affecting anything with the old keys, correct?
UHS have it. www.uhs-hardware.com/products/2005-2011-maserati-granturismo-quattroporte-3-button-flip-key-rx2trf937-rsk-msrti-9 They have a mistake on the year.
@legacylocksmith7874 hey I have an 11 Gran turismo all keys lost active alarm and can't read immo either under both options, does alarm have to be off, or do these lock the bcm when alarm is active like fiat? Could I program remote separately to get alarm off?
@thekeyguy3161 I don’t think that they got locked. Did you had good internet connection? Good battery? It’s can take sometime. Can you read anything from the car?
@legacylocksmith7874 no and actually I'm using 608 and it must have updated because my screen shows control unit or guided functions and the only give the option of choosing between the two different types (1x or 2k or whatever two options it gives) doesn't have the full options to choose to read immo make dealer key learn key all that, but no I couldn't read any immo data, pulled module but couldn't find correct board layout to eeprom on 608. It's a repo car so I'll update and try it again, there is a new maserati/fiat update
Amazing wow thank you

Can you use this when installing a new ignition key cylinder
I’m not sure
great video, I programed my 07 QP which uses the same type of key, only for some reason my fob buttons don't work, any suggestions?
Did you follow the instructions? Did you checked if your key has frequency?
Try going to program remote

Just use the process I did you will need to prepare a dealer key and then learn it. That is as far as the transponder. The remote is done separate.

@JohnVigilia73 you must learn all the working keys first before you learn the new key. If you want to do that old keys will not work.
@@legacylocksmith7874 thank you for letting me know🙏
Is key adding the same process? Or is that easier.
Same process or you can just clone the chip. Much easier.
Why do you need the xp 400. Won't the xp 200 that comes with the I'm 508 do the same immobilizer programming
You are right on this one the XP 200 should be just enough. I just use the XP 400 regularly for everything.
Unfortunately i lost all keys for my 2016 Maserati granturismo (blade key style). The same steps will work correct? No need to remove BCM ?
Is it using the same flip key? If so I definitely think that this method should work for you.
Where are you located i need a key for the same car?
South Florida
@legacylocksmith7874 dam I'm from Florida but I'm currently in north carolina
I'd like to know where he found a key for that car I've called you a chess Midwest keyless excetera no one has one in stock

Здравствуйте почему у меня нету прочитать иммо данные и т.д im 508
Try the second option maybe. Also, make sure your Internet is good.

It is not AKL, the one you did is an add key, all key lost is not supported by OBD, need to remove the BCM and on-bench programming
This was AKL. I DID NOT HAD A CHIP THAT STARTED THE CAR to begin with which we call AKL
I just programmed a generated chip to make sure it works before I did the flip key one just because I didn’t want to ruin it in case it doesn’t work
