First clean the inner part of the gear box with petrol u can see how dirty is gear box from inner side

Yes, I did this to my 2014 Hero pleasure.
Pros: Milega increased as at low RPM bike will reach to 40kmph speed.
Cons: low pickup. I had to drive smoothly now and sudden acceleration was not possible.
