    you’re literally doing the Lord’s Work Graham, some of us really didn’t have ANYONE to tell us or explain these things (matter fact my mom is VERY anti credit cards-we were immigrants), and especially since a lot of us at this age are already struggling with ourselves, social life, building a career, the outside world, relationships, etc, nevermind mental or emotional issues, it all gets to be a lot. so having someone just say “literally do this, this and this and you’re off to a great start” omg bless you 😭❤️❤️❤️

    Something I’ve realized is that getting a dog in my 20’s has made it quite difficult to save. I thought it would just be the cost of food - no - vet bills, food that provides proper nutrition, treats, boarding costs when we’re away, hotel fees if she comes with us, monthly pet fees to rent our apartment… it all costs a lot more than I ever expected to ensure they're properly cared for. I love my dog and wouldn’t trade her for the world 😊 But it’s definitely something to consider as I know a lot more young people are adopting animals and we don't want them to end up abandoned or neglected.

    • @grahamfan
      @grahamfan 3 ปีที่แล้ว +12

      Yes, A lot of people do not ever think of the long term cost involved of owning a pet. Sadly, That is why so many end up abandoned and or neglected.

      @Abby-Brock 3 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      @@MichelleMarki Of course! I would do anything to ensure she is happy and safe. :) I think I just didn't understand the high cost to ensure they have good quality food and good health care even though it's completely worth it. It's just something that has really surprised me and I think should be strongly considered so that like Graham Fan said they don't end up abandoned or neglected.

    A tradeline means that you are a authorized user of someone else's credit card. You don't have to have possession of the card, but their credit history will reflect on your credit report...a parent or family member with EXCELLENT credit can be a "tradeline" I graduated college with 97,000 in debt"...that right there is a Huge problem..schools have become a business that drain students of money and yet, no one is stepping in to help the students who then graduate with massive debt and have difficulty paying it off...Having that much debt can be overwhelming for ANYONE...Especially a young 20 something who hasn't even began their career. But i really thank you for this video because i found Jack and within few weeks they fixed my Credit score which is hindrance by student loan and added a large tradeline thanks a lot 850Financialassessment🟡com

    Regarding the Roth IRA, something he never seems to mention for some reason is that you can only include what the IRS calls earned income. Its a pretty important caveat to the ROTH IRA that should be mentioned imo, especially in a video targeted at could be students who may not be working.

      Yea nah don't live in regret. It sound easy to start things sooner but sometimes you need to go thru the pain to come out stronger. Some would say I've wasted my money in my 20s but I have no regrets. I spent it how I wanted and have experienced a lot. Now in my early 30s my focus is on my pension and investing, but I needed to get that stupid out my system so I wouldn't see myself having a midlife crisis.
