To my understanding this just proves how much we need an edge as investors because playing the market like everyone else just isn’t good enough. I've been quite unsure about investing in this current market and at the same time I feel it's the best time to get started on the market, what are your thoughts?

Since the crash, I've been in the red. I’m playing the long term game, so I'm not too worried but Jim Cramer mentioned there are still a lot of great opportunities, though stocks has been down a lot. I also heard news of a guy that made $250k from about $110k since the crash and I would really look to know how to go about this.

If you wanna be successful, you most take responsibility for your emotions, not place the blame on others. In addition to make you feel more guilty about your faults, pointing the finger at others will only serve to increase your sense of personal accountability. There's always a risk in every investment, yet people still invest and succeed. You most look outward if you wanna be successful in life.

Amazing content. I started a bit late (graduated from my doctorate program at age 30 in 2016 with 170k in school loan debt). Managed to pay off my debt by 2019 and currently have a house and 250k total in investments (combo of profit share, 401k and a brokerage account). I'm not very knowledgeable in investing, so I just have my investing currently in index funds (mainly voo, but have been putting a lot into schd the past few months). I dunno if that's the optimal strategy, but psychologically it is very set it and forget it, and prevents me from obsessing over individual stock performance like you alluded to in your video.

Self Control is skill that can be easily learned if one is willing to learn that skill. There are many tools/apps out there to track spending that are free to use that can help you learn how to manage money. Also, if you get a secured card and put money down it's a great safe way to learn how to use credit. If you screw up on a bill the credit card company will use your deposited money to pay the debt off. Good tool to build and learn how to use credit. Finally, if your really set a card for a specific purpose such as using the card for only gas or a subscription and set up automatic payments.

After looking back. I can highly advised against this tho. The toll it took on my mental health was much more than what it was worth. Now that COVID had come through and i've had time to slow down. Went to community college for two years then finished my bachelors at a state university. Excelled at community college and got a full scholarship to finish my degree. I continued to work 20 hours a week even when I had a full ride to school. Was able to graduate absolutely debt free and invested over $8,000 in my Roth IRA.
    GO TO COMMUNITY COLLEGE!!!

Better yet, do early college! Started community college sophomore year in high school, going to graduate high school with an associates, completely covered. (Plus I get a $150 gift card per term for textbooks... if I need to buy them 😉)

When I turned 18 I got my first credit card and recklessly spent and racked up thousands in debt. Just over 2 years later I finally finished paying it off today. My credit score was trash but it’s gone way up. Only use your credit card if you have the money!!!

Take advantage of your age! Everything in this video is true! I started at 20. I grew up in a low-income household. Wish I could have done it by 18 but Now I'm 24 with 800+ credit score, 100k in total credit card limits, Roth IRA, 2 nice cars with low payments, and a co-business owner.
