Google Chromecast 3rd Gen: How to Factory Reset to the Very Beginning

Short tutorial on how to factory reset your Google Chromecast 3rd generation. There is a reset button on the chromecast. You need to hold that button down for about 10 seconds or so until the light turns back to white. You need to keep the USB plugged in to give it power but you do not have to keep the HDMI plugged into your TV that is optional. After the white light appears after holding the reset button down for 10 seconds or so then it will start the reset process and you will see the light turn white, orange, then blinking etc. After the holding down the reset button for 10 seconds or so it will take about 1 minute to complete the reset process. For me it was 2.5 hours because at first I couldn't figure out why the Chromecast couldn't just automatically detect the new WiFi name and then why it wasn't connecting when I went into the settings on my cell phone's Chomecast app. After messing with the settings on my cell phone I got it to work to at least connect to the new WiFi. I just didn't know it was as simple as how he explained in this video after Google Chrome found my new WiFi info. Now my projector works as good as new

I am using Google Chromecast 3. TH-cam, Disnehot star etc., which are having cast icon is casting to TV. But, "Caste my screen" is not working properly. "Caste my Screen" works very rarely. Till yesterday my google Chromecast 3 device worked properly. But, today it is not working properly. Only screen casting from You Tube and Disney hotstar is working. But, screen mirroring is not working. If I click cast screen, a note will come, there I will click start mirroring. But, no action found. Home name is Family room, under this Family room "Play music" in green colour is appearing. after clicking Family room cast my screen will come. After clicking this, cast to mirror device will come. After this, if I click cast screen, screen mirroring will not work. It stands in same stage. What is the problem? Only Casting from you tube and Disney hotstar is working. I feel Google Chromecast device is partially out of order. Please suggest early.

I went through this whole process and it still is giving me an error message saying something went wrong and that it connected to the wifi network but it was unable to determine if a Google account was already linked. I removed the device from my Google home app and factory reset it so it should’ve wiped the slate clean. Can anyone help?
