I'm glad to have the kid-time I had with a good mom :) in appartment since 20 years now and I miss that time, we got to evolve, at 18 /21 we aren't "heal" from our autism, we learn to live with it as adults ;) On my own since 17 so I can tell all parent's that the love never end, we can have a live, kids+family+relationship :) Don't worry "Rocking The Spectrum", your little guy will rock sooner then you may think ;) (Not all for everybody on the spectrum but I know your little boy will) ;) Great dad+mom, so don't worry :) You can look for Kimock7 videos, he got a young adult son's on the spectrum, also a lovely dad :) Take care ;)
Thank you so much for your kind words and for telling me about you.I’m really happy to hear your doing so well. That’s all I want for my little man,to be happy heathy and independent enough to live a happy life. I will look into that channel you recommend THANK YOU 😊 💙

@@ibrahim8870 he sees a therapist twice a week. He's starting to get some words in, and mimicks everything. Still not very verbal but he can memorize numbers and the alphabet!
@@ReaperNola that’s great! My son used to have words and stopped at 2. He’s good with non verbal imitation but no verbal imitation. He speaks in jargon now. No one understands him.
@@ibrahim8870 mine was the opposite I guess. He had brief times when he would try to make some sounds, and then nothing, but now he seems to be trying. Its mostly jibberish but then he has his few words memorized. Hoping he's just a late talker, bc its really difficult not being able to explain dangers or get him to understand basic things 😔
@@ReaperNola I know. I hope he starts saying words soon. Looks likes he’s trying so hard but no actual words just different sounds and jargon. I do like it though when he “talks” and looks directly at me. My heart melts.
i have a son who is almost 5 years old with autism with non verbal but since he was around 3 he used to pronounce A TO Z and singing all the youtube songs but even he cannot able to say papa and mama and if we force to say papa and then he repeat and as a parents u faced lots of difficulties about ur child which i have a depression and one night i have heart attack and fortunately i was escaped and later i take the meditation, yoga and speech from prophet and now i am almost back to normal ....i love the way u care to ut cute son and please never give up and we have push our best to become normal guy and i wish all the child with autism all around the world will be become the normal child sooner rather than later .... god bless u all ....
So cute! I'm probably not supposed to, but I love it when they do that hand thing on the trolley or table or car. My 3yo does it too sometimes, when he doesn't have a stim device. I think it's cute. They "flap" and that's just the way they are. I try to just love everything he does. He's normal in his own way. Great job you guys. I'm going to try the picture com system as well. I did get a fright, since our children seems so similar, when you went out to the car. But I am glad to see that your little one is not a runner. Makes life a little easier. Keep up the good work. It's great to see you guys are a team and working together.
+Juhani139 I love all that you said, your comment has made me very happy :). I also love every little silly cute thing he does, it's him and as long as he's not hurting himself it's okay by me. I always described my son as a runner but apparently it's only with his parents, at school and with others he's very good at listening and not running so I'm trying to give him more independence and it's tuff at times because he will run but it also has helped a lot I think because he doesn't feel restricted by me holding his hand always he is content with walking with me now without running. The picture system is. Good way to help them communicate for sure! Thank you for your kind words:)
I feel you time 1000 ♥️♥️ stay strong. My son did the guiding me to what he wanted he’s progressed so much went from speaking a few words to speaking sentences. I know it’s so hard but pls keep hope♥️ praying for ur son and family xo
Thanks for your videos and what a handsome son you are blessed with. I have the most precious grandson who is also non verbal for the most part and we love him so much. Keep up the good work you are doing and for sharing. Please remember God is so good and is always faithful to your calling as parents and will help you.
NEW sub...... great video. love how you communicate with your child. I am ASD level two and i'm 36 yrs old , I just started videos on how I see the world. I always wished I was 100% non verbal as I was forced to speak. now as an adult i'm usually 50% of the time non verbal. I am also learning to sign in case of a meltdown or I can't verbally communicate I can still sign to my wife. much love keep up the great work,
Adorable. Such a great smile. My son's father hasn't been around for 7 years this month. A bit before that, he asked to take him for a weekend, and the next morning he brought him back and said never again. So we don't need anyone like that around
Hey guys!! I'm a mum all the way from NewZealand and my son is 3 with autism.. There's a lot of similarities between Christian and my son Ka'lel. Also between you guys and us haha.. We really enjoy your videos as it helps us I suppose cope better too :)..
Thank you so much for this great video my 4 yr old son was diagnosed autistic when he was 3 and was non verbal my gosh it was so hard playing the guessing game what it is that he wanted and communicating, we have been working on visual and gestures also makaton sign language and he is doing great with it he can now say a few words not clearly but he is trying and also with sign language...you guys are doing an amazing job as parents good bless your beautiful family❤❤
Sometimes i feel in Modern countries they tend to put a label for everything and everyone I feel your little boy is perfectly normal. My brother was no verball till he got 4 years old He doesn’t shut up now he is 20 and perfectly normal I think if he grow up iN USA he might get a label Keep up the good work and trust me after like 5 years you will realize that your son is perfectly normal guy
You doing great guys. My son also pulls my hands to what's he wants. am same with my son when it comes to not giving him things he wants just because he has a meltdown. Great job guys with implementing the PECS sadly it still doesn't work with my baby. You guys look like a great team and that's what he needs. Keep up the good work 😘😍
Robi K Thank you for your nice words :) pecs are hard for our son as well he's just getting the concept now so it's still a struggle but we'll keep at it!his pulling and pointing is his only form of communication at this time so hopefully he can try using his words soon that would be amazing :)
I know a nice friend who's also (mostly) nonverbal autistic. It was a bit difficult getting to know him, since he rarely ever talks and mostly makes sounds to communicate (I don't have any ill-will against him though).
My 3 year old is also non verbal asd. As a young mum I have found it difficult. His one year old brother is also signs of Autism and hardly speaks. But seeing videos like this makes me realise I'm not alone :) x
Miss Keema no need to worry about that baby because we as parents going to make sure we doing everything we can to make sure they going to be good ‼️ have faith and pray! God got them
He is lovely. You are blessed. I understand that it is hard work as my son has autism. Try giving him garlic to clean his blood up of any mercury. It made a big difference to my son. I also researched the vitamins he needs to stop diarrhea and replace vitamins he is not absorbing. I also slept next to him so that if he suddenly got too hot or too cold I would know immediately.
i feel u grl. my daughter is 10 yrs old & is nonverbal & is autistic.. it is so hard. sometimes i wanna break dwn & cry which is wat i do but i know GOD WILL NEVER GIVE ME NETJING THAT I CANT HANDLE!! its hard😥😥but u know wat we r stron ppl..💒💒
awesome video, sometimes it feels like im the only one who has a non verbal child. My son literally said more words at 1 year than he does now, just gotta keep on working though
+Adam Blankenship I feel like that at times too, it's very hard not to hear them speak to you but hopefully soon we will be able to hear them talk, my son never said any words at all I honestly don't know which seems harder hearing him say words and then stop or not hearing anything at all :( Stay strong :):)
Rocking The Spectrum my family remembers him saying "done" "mama" "Dada" and "more" for this reason they are convinced it's vaccinations that caused it but I don't focus on that, just gotta keep working towards the future. Good luck buddy.
Adam Blankenship same my baby would say dada and would wave bye and when he got shots he stopped saying dada and waving bye so I decided not to give him his one year shots and the only word he says now is “mom” but slowly but surely he’ll progress more 🙏🏼
Also, he could have developed an allergy to milk products or to gluten. I found this out with me son. The doctor advised me not to absolutely ban anything, just reduce it a lot.
My niece is also non verbal do they ever start talking fullybecause she says some sentence and she says what she wants but you can’t have a conversation with her she only talks a little when she wants to and she also pulls us when she wants something
My daughter is 4 years now and doesn’t say a word too. She grab ours hands same same and push it towards to what she wants. I am so sad but in the same side need to be strong to help her grown and overcome some of this obstacles.
being mean back does no good and it's so hard not to get upset my son is 8 and nonverbal your son seems to be at the same level as mine except my son was really violent and it has gotten better over time stay strong and persistent it gets better in time
+Prakticle J yeah it is hard at times to not let your natural reaction to a bad behavior like biting come out but you are right it does no good.at times I can hear myself sounding a bit harsh when he does something over and over again after telling him many times not to but I try to correct myself immediately. We as parents are only human and the best we can do Is try to learn from our mistakes. I'm glade to hear your son is doing well :)
I have 2 autistic teenagers I am a latina. Nonverbal children tend to have more behavior issues. Yes they do regress intervention never stops. When pointing at an item whether he is verbal or not never stop naming the item. Unless you get a EEG, you won't know if non verbalization is caused by Brain. Warning and reward system will decrease tantrums, all the time. I'll be praying.
+Brittany Gabaldon he got down the more sign and all done sign but he lost the more sign recently so I'm going to try to get him to do it again I wasn't consistent enough with that :( Right now we are focusing on pecs but I do want to add some basic signs as well
Im am a single father of a 2 year old non verbal autistic child and am seeking some tips on how to effectively work with him. He has OT and speech therapy....
Hello, best thing that helped guide us in the right direction was early intervention. They taught us as parents how to interact with our son better and help him become more aware. ABA was great as well. He started that when he turned 3
My son is 2 and almost non verbal. He can mumble words but only when he is in his mood to. Trying to encourage him a little more, afraid of how kids will be towards him in school.
this does not mean he has an issue.. many kids are late developers.. dont worry to much.. and iim pretty sure if it does become a problem he will be found the right school with similar children
My son is 4 years old and autism with nonverbal. Right we are trying to get ABA therapy going. We try Speech therapy but after awhile he just stopped learning stuff and got mad when the speech therapist try to teach him stuff he could not do or did not want to do plus he stopped use sign language. Now after stopping speech therapy he use more sign language and babble ( like baby do that sound like trying to talk) or hums all the time.
KJ M that's awesome that he is trying to make sounds again. I'm currently trying to start up speech therapy, my son also gets frustrated when we push him too hard to the point where he will not try on purpose it's about balance with him push but don't over do it. I hope your son starts ABA soon it has really help my son with focus and doing more things on his own
KJ M We do try to do some sign with him for simple things like more, all done and eat but he's so so on it he also does some sign language at school so I think he understands it but is not doing it to get what his wants. He mostly points and pulls me to what he wants.
Subscribed, my son will be 3 in August. He has been diagnosed with ASD w Apraxia, too. I hope to learn from you hmguys, thank you for sharing!! Him going to Google what PECS is...he has been receiving occupational, physical, & speech twice a week. My question is how old is your son?
+Katia F PMW thank you for subscribing! My son turned 3 this February I'm glade to hear your son is receiving help, Christian has accomplished a lot since his therapy started. My son just started speech therapy this month he's gone twice I worry my son my have Apraxia as well hopefully I'll get some answers soon with him having speech therapy now.
Why is this more common now than before? Have they found a link between autism and anything else? Growing up I never heard or autism now it seems every kid has it. Crazy..
So I've worked with a non verbal autistic child for about 2 years now. He's an absolute blessing, and i praise any parent that has to deal with that situation. However, this was a great video and I appreciate it. If you can teach him to use a tablet, that's a life changer. Because these kids are smart, they just can't tell you how smart they are. They have to show you.
+Natalia Martan yes he has gotten used to cutting his hair so now he does really well.we go to a kids hair cut place so they put Mickey Mouse for him and give him a lollipop and he's pretty calm.in our next video we will be showing him getting a haircut hopefully that will help show how they do it. With him it just took time for him to get comfortable with the process
what a lovely vid, my son is 4 and does exactly the same pull you to what he wants. really struggling at the moment but your vid really has made me feel better. thank you. ps how did you manage too cut his hair cuz my son will not ket it happen.
We have been taking him to get his haircut since he was 1 so I think the consistency helped. We always bring a lollipop when getting a haircut to distract him and when he was younger we would take him to a kids salon that had movies playing. That always helped 💙
Hiya, I'm new to your channel, my sons a few months younger than your son and was also non-verbal until recently, I don't know if you have ever heard of this programme, it's called 'Gemiini' it's basically video modelling for autistic children, i thought I'd give it ago for my son as i thought it was worth a try and it was like a light bulb went on inside my sons head and he started to repeat what was being said on the videos and my sons speech has just carried on from there! Don't get me wrong he's not speaking in sentences yet but its a start! I think it costs $90 dollars a month but you can get it at a reduced fee if you can't afford to pay that much! Just check it out, its worth a shot even if you just try it for a month, you never know xx
jodie vincent Hello I'm mother of 3yrs and 2mnth old son.. I heard about Gemini software.. my son has only two words mom d wow and understanding our commands very less.. how gemini software worked for u.. pls guide us
Gomathi Vijay Hey! I would just give it ago, they've just updated the programme so it's a lot easier to navigate! I'm not actually using it with my son at the moment because his speech has improved so much But I would definitely say that it was due to using geminii that got my son to start speaking! I can't say if it will work for you but it's worth a shot, I was apprehensive about using it at first but am now so glad I just tried it! Good luck if you try it and I hope it works for your son as it did for mine:)
My grandson has apraxia and sensory disorder. Please know that some meltdowns are not about getting his way, but about being upset over the disappointment. We all have disappointments. We all express it in different ways. A child cannot fake tears. These children do not have great coping skills. It is also very hard for them to regulate their bodies. Like heart rate, blood pressure, temperature. So when they get a disappointment, they want something and are told no, their body reacts. Sometimes its more than they can handle.
+Brittany Fuqua it is very hard to feed him new foods, some things he fights so hard to not eat and then later on tries it and loves it. He has a hand full of things he will eat everything else he won't even give a chance
@@ROCKNSTIMS thank you for ur response. my son is 4 no words even mama. but sings a lot by humming, still hoping.. u are an awesome mom, thank u for inspiring other moms like me.
+Caroline Koenig I believe there is but it's more to do with anxiety I think, google has some good information but mostly on selective mutism. My son has more symptoms besides communication delay so we feel comfort with the diagnosis they have given him so far
I recommend you and your family watch fathering autism it will help you get inside on possibly a better school for your son since Abby is nonverbal as well so they have a daughter that is 14 that has the same diagnosis I think that it would be beneficial for you all to take a peek and they have more insight on what you can do in the programs and what you qualify for
Hello! I watch them all the time. We live in Las Vegas so we can’t do what they do since they live in Florida. But we have found what currently is working wonderfully for us 💙
Cute kid and informative vid. But the audio goes from super quiet to really loud. Almost busted my eardrum listening with headphones while my kid sleeps.
+AnnMarie Espinoza it is extremely hard for me as well at times,I don't really know what to say except whenever I feel myself getting too frustrated I separate myself from the situation and let my husband step in on whatever it is we are doing but there's times he's not available so I just say to myself calm down he's not doing it on purpose :/
Hi, I m from India and my son 2 and half is non verbal.i hear so much about methyl b12 injections in improving speech in TH-cam.have you tried biomedical intervention.please do share your experience as here no therapist or MD expert on ASD
Nonverbal often means no functional words. Meaning they may have some words or sounds but they may not be using them to communicate with others. For my son it literally means no words. He doesn’t have words or word approximations. He communicates using gestures, communication device and sign language.
I train my son with punishment if he do something not normal. in my place there are no facilities or specialist for this kind of problem. maybe it little harsh but the only way i training my son is using youtube.
Saini88able is your son non verbal? I am not trying to tell you how to parent but, look at things from his point of view. The world is very scary place already think how frustrating it must feel not being able to tell someone "Hey I don't like to be touched",or "I don't feel good". If they are tired or hungry or thirsty. He's just trying to cope with the world the best he can so, by you punishing him for things he can't control is a bit mean. If they is no resources in your area wouldn't you wanna try and move to an area that can help him? Seeing kids like Christian makes me more determined to help kids like him.
Hi! Hope you anwer my message. I'm from Argentina. I have a son with autism (non-verbal) and I struggle to communicate with him. Any clues? By the way, your video helped a lot. Thanks!
Hi, I’m glad the video help you 😊 The main thing that helped us communicate with our son early on was sign language and making sure he could point to the things he wanted. Using pictures to identify what he wants to communicate helps a lot as well. 💙
No dont stop the aba therapy ...in the initial stages of sessions he will have behaviors more than usual but thats normal because now someone is telling them what to do but behaviors will decrease..i am a Aba therapist my self ...please make sure therapist is showing you what programs they are running so you may also incorporate that in their daily tasks.
We have continued ABA and don’t plan on stopping it. It has helped out so much. Thank you for your comment. Your right behaviors spiked but with time he adjusted to all the new demands 💙
Make sure to check out our updated Life with my nonverbal son video to see what life is like for us now 💙

He's pulling to try and communicate. Good idea with the board for communication. He's a happy kid which is a compliment to you.
+Juhani139
I love all that you said, your comment has made me very happy :).
He's a handsome young man, you guys are doing all you can and all the right things, wish you the bests for the future.
+KimboDogg07 thank you !
I like the chart in the kitchen I'm going to make one for my son.
Definitely sounds better off without him 👌🏼👏🏼💙
Hey guys!! I'm a mum all the way from NewZealand and my son is 3 with autism.. There's a lot of similarities between Christian and my son Ka'lel. Also between you guys and us haha.. We really enjoy your videos as it helps us I suppose cope better too :)..
Awww I hope things get better ! He's such a cutie!!
Reminds me so much of my son. 4 ASD/SPD . Non verbal. He's started using words, but not many.
Uses pecs and loads of non verbal cues
My son is non-verbal also. You guys are doing so well!
My son is 2 and non verbal I did do the program for speech before he turned 2 but I stopped since I moved....he only says mom when he’s crying
I love your username! It’s fantasticly perfect!
Thank you ☺️
Nice vid, I am autistic myself and was nonverbal since I was young and one speak at age 5. I also have a cousin with autism and he is nonverbal.
Love this famous approach so much!!!!!!
Sometimes i feel in Modern countries they tend to put a label for everything and everyone
I feel your little boy is perfectly normal. My brother was no verball till he got 4 years old
He doesn’t shut up now he is 20 and perfectly normal
I think if he grow up iN USA he might get a label
Keep up the good work and trust me after like 5 years you will realize that your son is perfectly normal guy
Not necessarily true my uncle is non verbal & autistic and he has been like it his whole life & he is now in his fifties
Despite your son being non verbal, you really know how to communicate.
+Jessica Stark he is very good at expressing his emotions :)
You doing great guys. My son also pulls my hands to what's he wants. am same with my son when it comes to not giving him things he wants just because he has a meltdown. Great job guys with implementing the PECS sadly it still doesn't work with my baby. You guys look like a great team and that's what he needs. Keep up the good work 😘😍
Robi K You give everyone power and support, hope u start in one day on TH-cam a channel and share your experience 😍❤️😇🙏
Robi K
Thank you for your nice words :) pecs are hard for our son as well he's just getting the concept now so it's still a struggle but we'll keep at it!his pulling and pointing is his only form of communication at this time so hopefully he can try using his words soon that would be amazing :)
Similar as my son... don't worry he will surprise you guys real soon. Patience and positivity ❤️
Robi K my little brother also pulls people hands to get what he wants.
I know a nice friend who's also (mostly) nonverbal autistic. It was a bit difficult getting to know him, since he rarely ever talks and mostly makes sounds to communicate (I don't have any ill-will against him though).
Love you guys you had a beautiful baby God bless your family
My 3 year old is also non verbal asd. As a young mum I have found it difficult. His one year old brother is also signs of Autism and hardly speaks. But seeing videos like this makes me realise I'm not alone :) x
I’m so happy our videos help. 💙
How old is he? He is such a handsome boy.
+Rosa Guaman he is 3 years old 😊
@@ROCKNSTIMS oh god..please don't label him autistic.. He is just nrmal..god bless
What a nice family. Thanks for sharing.
the number one worry I have for my son is who will take care of him of something happened to me.
+Semisweet I completely understand that fear ! It's hard to think about that because they rely on us so much :(
Miss Keema no need to worry about that baby because we as parents going to make sure we doing everything we can to make sure they going to be good ‼️ have faith and pray! God got them
He is lovely. You are blessed. I understand that it is hard work as my son has autism. Try giving him garlic to clean his blood up of any mercury. It made a big difference to my son. I also researched the vitamins he needs to stop diarrhea and replace vitamins he is not absorbing. I also slept next to him so that if he suddenly got too hot or too cold I would know immediately.
also my daughter has it too. she pulls us everywhere
i feel u grl. my daughter is 10 yrs old & is nonverbal & is autistic.. it is so hard. sometimes i wanna break dwn & cry which is wat i do but i know GOD WILL NEVER GIVE ME NETJING THAT I CANT HANDLE!! its hard😥😥but u know wat we r stron ppl..💒💒
awesome video, sometimes it feels like im the only one who has a non verbal child. My son literally said more words at 1 year than he does now, just gotta keep on working though
+Adam Blankenship I feel like that at times too, it's very hard not to hear them speak to you but hopefully soon we will be able to hear them talk, my son never said any words at all I honestly don't know which seems harder hearing him say words and then stop or not hearing anything at all :(
Stay strong :):)
So cute great parents my support to you guys
+Gutierrez Savage thank you !!
My son is so similar to yours its crazy hes 4 and non verbal does the same pull
Regresé a ver uno de los viejitos pero bonitos 😂siempre es bueno verlos 😊👌
😭😭 gracias ! 💙
My niece is also non verbal do they ever start talking fullybecause she says some sentence and she says what she wants but you can’t have a conversation with her she only talks a little when she wants to and she also pulls us when she wants something
Why's his hair only half shaved
I bet he's a good child ❤
I have 2 autistic teenagers I am a latina. Nonverbal children tend to have more behavior issues. Yes they do regress intervention never stops. When pointing at an item whether he is verbal or not never stop naming the item. Unless you get a EEG, you won't know if non verbalization is caused by Brain. Warning and reward system will decrease tantrums, all the time. I'll be praying.
+Evelyn Sierra thank you for the information 👍
My daughters meltdowns are horrible at night and I know what you mean except my daughter is verbal
He is so cute..I have a son too he is turning 5 and non verbal..
Have you tried sign language. I know my friends son didnt start talking till he was 7, but they used to use sign language to communicate.
+Brittany Gabaldon he got down the more sign and all done sign but he lost the more sign recently so I'm going to try to get him to do it again I wasn't consistent enough with that :(
Right now we are focusing on pecs but I do want to add some basic signs as well
My son is the same way
Im am a single father of a 2 year old non verbal autistic child and am seeking some tips on how to effectively work with him. He has OT and speech therapy....
Hello, best thing that helped guide us in the right direction was early intervention. They taught us as parents how to interact with our son better and help him become more aware. ABA was great as well. He started that when he turned 3
He's such a handsome little boy...even my son is
autistic and still non verbal he's 3 and a half years now
My son is 3 and a half and non verbal. But hasn't been diagnosed with Autism.
Thank you for sharing!!!
KJ M
that's awesome that he is trying to make sounds again. I'm currently trying to start up speech therapy, my son also gets frustrated when we push him too hard to the point where he will not try on purpose it's about balance with him push but don't over do it. I hope your son starts ABA soon it has really help my son with focus and doing more things on his own
Rocking The Spectrum I am glad ABA is working for him. I hope Speech therapy gets started and works for you guys. Have you tried Sign Language?
KJ M
We do try to do some sign with him for simple things like more, all done and eat but he's so so on it he also does some sign language at school so I think he understands it but is not doing it to get what his wants. He mostly points and pulls me to what he wants.
Rocking The Spectrum okay. My son does sign language to get some of the things he wants.
My 4.5 years old doing exactly the same ,he refuses the speech therapy now. He likes to pull my hand to what he needs. Still not diapers trained.
God bless your beautiful son. 💖
You are awesome parents. Hope you are well.
Ty💙👍😊
You are not alone....my kid's a teen so i have been where you are. Sign language and singing helped my kid/us a lot.@@ROCKNSTIMS
All the best to you and your family!
How is Christian now? In what way is he communicating now?
He’s doing well, we sure aac device to communicate as well as signs and his natural gestures
I really love this video! Can you tell me how did you cut his hair this way? Did he allow it??
+Natalia Martan yes he has gotten used to cutting his hair so now he does really well.we go to a kids hair cut place so they put Mickey Mouse for him and give him a lollipop and he's pretty calm.in our next video we will be showing him getting a haircut hopefully that will help show how they do it. With him it just took time for him to get comfortable with the process
What pictures did he use to make up the word Playground?! I couldn't see which pictures he picked out on the Chart...
+Sha Lala he used the swings pec to show he wanted to go the his playground in the backyard
what a lovely vid, my son is 4 and does exactly the same pull you to what he wants. really struggling at the moment but your vid really has made me feel better. thank you. ps how did you manage too cut his hair cuz my son will not ket it happen.
+tama yeager gibson breaks our hearts when he has a meltdown and can't tell us what's wrong. We can only imagine what he goes through 😞
Rocking The Spectrum I know the feelings all too well. Thank you for making videos.
+tama yeager gibson thank you for watching 😊
Can i one question, when the baby is born, does the water break early, and the baby is still in the womb, ( more than 12 hours)?
Please try the nemcheck protocol
Hello,,i just ask if how is he now?
Is he can speak already?
He’s doing great,he’s still non verbal but he’s gotten slot better with functional communication (pecs, sign language, gestures )
How old is he now?
I have a son who is non verbal,he is 3 yrs. Old,we communicate each other by sign.and im worried about him.
is it hard feeding him new food? I have a two year old and its hard to feed him
+Brittany Fuqua it is very hard to feed him new foods, some things he fights so hard to not eat and then later on tries it and loves it. He has a hand full of things he will eat everything else he won't even give a chance
Rocking The Spectrum is he saying any words yet?
+Brittany Fuqua no he is not saying any words at the moment :(
How old is he now? I have twin daughters and both with autism non verbal theyre 4 year old. Dont know what to do. No communication at all. 😭
He is 5 years old. He is still nonverbal but we are doing better with finding different ways to communicate 💙
Hi, does he sing nursery tunes by humming?
No he does not
@@ROCKNSTIMS thank you for ur response. my son is 4 no words even mama. but sings a lot by humming, still hoping.. u are an awesome mom, thank u for inspiring other moms like me.
Humming is a great way to engage with your little one and seems like songs may be a motivating way to bring words out 💙💙
He’s so cute omg 💕
My daughter is non verbal, severely autistic. She pulls me when we are out in public and it nearly kills me
Good mother. Still a gap. It’s not about them entering our world. It’s about us entering theirs.
Ist there such thing as a mute though? All there normal just mute
Almost busted my eardrum listening with headphones while my kid sleeps.
music is way too loud in comparison to the talking.
what happened to his hair.
how old is he?
+Pam R christian is 3 years old
ts so hard to not get frustrated . how do u keep the rombgetting frustrated ?
its*
from
+AnnMarie Espinoza it is extremely hard for me as well at times,I don't really know what to say except whenever I feel myself getting too frustrated I separate myself from the situation and let my husband step in on whatever it is we are doing but there's times he's not available so I just say to myself calm down he's not doing it on purpose :/
Rocking The Spectrum are you afraid you might go ice crazy one day?
Handsome little guy x
Hi, I m from India and my son 2 and half is non verbal.i hear so much about methyl b12 injections in improving speech in TH-cam.have you tried biomedical intervention.please do share your experience as here no therapist or MD expert on ASD
I haven’t tried it. I’ll have to look into that
Thanks for the information
Does non verbal literally mean no words? Or some words. Verbal I assume means a chatterbox? Educate me someone please.
Nonverbal often means no functional words. Meaning they may have some words or sounds but they may not be using them to communicate with others. For my son it literally means no words. He doesn’t have words or word approximations. He communicates using gestures, communication device and sign language.
At least he smiles. Mine is now an adult and has a flat affect. I often have to ask if she is okay because she acts frozen.
Great video.
What a great looking boy ❤
Hi! Hope you anwer my message. I'm from Argentina. I have a son with autism (non-verbal) and I struggle to communicate with him. Any clues?
By the way, your video helped a lot. Thanks!
Hi, I’m glad the video help you 😊
The main thing that helped us communicate with our son early on was sign language and making sure he could point to the things he wanted. Using pictures to identify what he wants to communicate helps a lot as well. 💙
Intensive Interaction youtube or joining with son rise program youtube
No dont stop the aba therapy ...in the initial stages of sessions he will have behaviors more than usual but thats normal because now someone is telling them what to do but behaviors will decrease..i am a Aba therapist my self ...please make sure therapist is showing you what programs they are running so you may also incorporate that in their daily tasks.
We have continued ABA and don’t plan on stopping it. It has helped out so much. Thank you for your comment. Your right behaviors spiked but with time he adjusted to all the new demands 💙
@@ROCKNSTIMS Glad to hear that ...love your videos recommended ur page to one of my parents ...much love!👏👏
Awe thanks 💙💙🤗
Is he talks now..,wats the update s.,
No he still is not talking but he is making more verbal sounds and is communicating better with signs and sometimes pecs
Why don’t they do ABA therapy it helps so much with non verbal kids!
+Rachelle Arreguin my son has been getting ABA for 9 months now, it has helped a lot
