Great video tim. Wouldn't mind getting behind the wheel of the mini. Most high powered minis can suffer from torque steer but you can dial it out with a decent suspension setup.
Thanks for coming over and seeing what we’re up to Tim! It was great fun seeing you drive the Mini. We’ll get you back in a month or so for part two with more power and new wheels on!
Thanks for your comment. If you are serious about converting your own vehicle I would start with some of the courses out there, provided by RHEL at Motor Skills or Fellten with their training courses. Not seen a RR of this shape electric yet, however plenty of space, although alot of electrics. Drop me an email if serious and I can support you.
Hey, we get around 1.8 to 2 miles per kWh... and that car has 100 kwh of battery. So around 180-200 miles but it depends a lot on tyre choice and cruise speed
I think that you’ve lost the plot. The whole point of classics is that they are old. When driving them it’s like time travel. Putting an electric drivetrain in is pointless. Would you electrify a steam traction engine?

Dimetre and TH-camr Shmee150 could be brothers!
Mmmmm maybe
I would kill for a Tesla powered mini! Any volunteers?
£40k and its yours ;)
I have a Nissan leaf 40kwh and a Range Rover L322 TDV8. But I’m not sure I have to time , knowledge or money to do the conversion.

What kind of efficiency and range do you get with that big battery Land Rover?
Its so tricky, so many variables 🤷♂️

My Audi needs an EV conversion. Any chance?
What Audi is it?
@@chargeheadsuk , an A2. The aluminium space frame should hold a lot of batteries and I’ve only used the spare wheel twice in 21 years :-)

What a great idea!!! 🚂⚡️🔋
