I love how Riku has no reaction to talking gargoyles, despite having never seen something like this before, yet Sora freaks out about it despite hanging around a talking duck and dog for several years and encountering all kinds of things that don't normally talk. Lol
A damn shame that 1. Phoebus and Quasimodo aren't pary members in this world and 2. We can't fight Frollo one of, if not the, most darkest and evil Disney villains
You know something I found funny about hunchback of notre dame being in this game is that it implies Christianity exists in the kingdom hearts universe which gets a small chuckle out of me when looking at the series as whole.

Before this moment at 8:50, Frollo IMO was already considered to be the most badass Disney villain. That moment just elevated him beyond badass into epicness.
It's so annoying when they just use lines from the move just because they were in the movie but lacking the context of the movie. Esmerelda saying "gypsies don't do well inside stone walls" makes no sense without the subtle snark of saying it after Frollo says it when he grabs her. Phoebus saying "you make your point quite vividly" to Frollo when he didn't do anything. In the movie he smashes an ant nest.
“There are just some things we need to keep separate from the work at large, at least until we have time to figure them out.” Y’all can argue all you want about how the thought of Soriku is ridiculous, but at the very least you have to concede that Riku is gay or at least NOT straight. You can’t tell me the comment from Esmeralda doesn’t sound like someone trying to reassure a questioning or closeted teenage boy.
It's obviously an allegory about being gay and coming out of the closet. Like it applies to Riku's darkness as well but makes more sense as the previous mentioned allegory. Also Soriku endgame :)

This was painfully underwhelming... And to think that for one brief moment, I thought it would be as exciting and immersive as the first... A lost opportunity, and a real shame.
