Love this idea, thanks so much for sharing. I made a basic model along with with, but my envelopes did not line up when I put the insides together. So I had to put it the other way - both front side facing the same way. I used double sided tape on the plastic instead of glue. Thanks again for the idea. ADEBO
Hi There ~ I'm a new subscriber, and I subscribed because I too like making things from junk mail envelopes. I love that you made this playlist with so many project ideas!!
Hello Liz what a wonderful project! Love these! Thank you so much for your very clear tutorial ❤️🌹 i will try and make one or two have a wonderful night
Hi Liz, these are darling! Leave it to you to create see thru windows from envelopes, that just never occurred to me, you could add a few sequins as well like a shaker card. Rachel at Roxy Creations mentioned you in a recent video of hers, she's making an envelope junk journal and you were one of the gals that inspired her! tyfs, i need to match up some of my junk mail envelope windows so i can make some of these :-) sorry you had so many recording issues, thanks for pushing thru, i enjoyed it a lot.
1st time tear channel and I loved what you did with the recycled envelopes. Such a wonderful idea. I also was looking for the video where you made the little booklet with the leftover Pockets but I could not Find it Could you please send me the link. Thank you for sharing your wonderful ideas I just love them all.
I love how these turned out. You made it look so easy. I always have trouble working with junk mail window envelopes because I don’t want to collage them and block some of the window. I can cut strips to fit down the sides but can’t make the pieces for the curved ends of the windows look right. How did you do that so perfectly? Any suggestions?
Create templates from a matching envelopes. That way you can place the template overtop your covering paper, draw around it and then it out. It will then fit your window almost exact (based on your precision of trimming out the window).
This is super cute and I just love the idea and I've been wanting to do the same thing with the window but what I haven't been able to figure out is how to cut the paper around the window. I've even tried taking the acetate out of another window envelope and thought I could trace around it but that didn't work as the paper of the envelope isn't sturdy enough to allow tracing and I really don't understand how you covered the envelope without any white bits showing. Also, I didn't catch how the flower gets secured - is it glued to the back window and if not, does it not move? I was planning to use some smaller more delicate flowers but I'm guessing it won't turn out very good if there's any way it can move. I'm betting that glue will show no matter what, assuming it will even hold. Any help you could offer would be greatly appreciated, Liz. Thanks for sharing this. Have you ever tried this with the window flipping out from the other side? Thx.
thanks for responding Liz, I appreciate it. I did rewatch the whole video but the parts I needs to see were edited out (the entire gluing of the window and the collage paper going around the top and bottom of the rounded ends of the window). I get that there are you tube viewers with no patience to watch tutorials, but we, your viewers give in because we WANT to see the lovely things you create. Please don't feel too pressured to keep videos really short behave of the few with ADHD - they seriously ruin it for those of us who do life in real time and don't expect everything in Reader's Digest form (ok, getting off the soapbox now but sometimes it needs to be said). I was concerned that there would be enough space between the window that would allow a smaller thinner botanical to move around, and I wanted to know where around the actual window you put the glue, but I guess I'll have to do a practice run.. at least there are still flowers to be picked this time of year. And we do appreciate that it was probably difficult to edit this video given the trouble you ran into with this one. So thanks again.
Love this idea. I have seen where people make what look like microscope slides to put into their journals that have a bug or garden theme but I really like this and the fact it is a pocket too.

Loved the video but it’s very difficult to watch when there are more ads than video. Honestly I have never watched a video that is interrupted by ads so often.
Thank you for letting me know. I have no idea or control over how many adds youtube puts in my videos, but I am definitely going to look into it and make some changes. TFW :-)
Liz thepaperproject hi Liz. I had complained about the number of ads on Wendy’s journal adventures and she said that they changed the defaults. You have to indicate just one ad when you upload your video. I hope that helps!
Super cute ideal. Thank you for sharing. I wonder if I have any window envelopes...... hmmm. ~ Bonnie

Is there a tutorial on how to make the accordion style envelope?
These are so cute, TFS. Are you aware your videos are being interrupted by ads?
Thank you :-) I did not know how bad it was, but have now changed that. I hope it works. Thank you for letting me know. :-)

Thank you. I make sure to cut around as precise as I can. The rest is called distress ink. It blends it all nicely. TFW

Nice project....like it, but don’t have die cuts😕
Thank you. You can use anything you want in the window. I just wanted to use die-cuts I had. :-)
Love this idea. I have seen where people make what look like microscope slides to put into their journals that have a bug or garden theme but I really like this and the fact it is a pocket too.
Thank you. Yes I've seen those, but I made these for those of us that don't want to do all that precision cutting haha. TFW
I live in the US and can’t find the collage page you are using so I can purchase. Should I put a certain word in a search bar?
