I hope you find some inspiration and make some quick ephemera!! Remember to leave a comment for an extra entry into my giveaway, that is still open! I appreciate your support and your lovely comments!
Hey, thanks for sharing. I have some left over pieces from die cutting that I wanted to use, but not sure how to; so now you have given me some great ideas, I have used some to decorate pockets or backed with transparent paper. I like the idea of using the magazine paper. 😊😊☺ ADEBO
I have bad insomnia Liz, and I agree, if I watch a crafting TH-cam video, I won't sleep because I'll want to craft and my mind starts reeling! So, instead, I will watch cute baby and dog videos, they make me smile and relax! Great idea for using the negatives!
A friend of mine uses the negatives and has told me to do the same but I have never been interested. I have now changed my mind after looking at what you do with them. So a big thank you for this video.
I read on my iPad till I get sleepy then just turn off the light. I can’t go in my craft room late and work on something then I can’t go to sleep. Thank you for sharing with us!! Love the ideas. I get kinda stuck sometimes, been crafting since I was 9 I’m 74 now. I make journals out of composition books they’re only $.50 when school starts. And I give them away I started with people that had cancer now I’m giving them to churches.
I love this idea! I've always had a vague notion of using the negatives in a tag but haven't really thought it through and I've never really known how to use the advertising pages of a magazine. Now I'll stop tossing them in the recycling bag and start using them. Thanks for sharing your excellent ideas! TH-cam videos: Portrait Artist of the Year, A Stitch in Time are both fascinating. TaskMaster makes me screech with laughter.
Very cool, Liz! I, actually, have a 3 ring binder with plastic sleeves that hold my magazine pages. Sorted by birds, butterflies, farming, etc. I use the images in my themed journals as tags, journaling cards, and I've even made envelopes using them. I, also, have a basket full of negatives. I'm going to try your awesome idea! 😍 I like to use paint chips to punch out tiny hearts, flowers, and butterflies. We watch Wild & Wonderful Off-Grid...it's on you tube. A sweet young couple are building an A-frame home in West Virginia. They have adorable children and cute farm animals. It is very entertaining! Thanks for the fun video! 😀 Hugs 🌺 Suzy
This is awesome!! I have bags of paper bits and die cut “remnants” and I’ve been collecting and saving magazines....I am always on the hunt for how to use them because I absolutely love images in magazines but the paper is usually so flimsy or too glossy, etc. This video shows how these pages can be incorporated into a project regardless of paper type. I feel blessed to be a sub on your channel 🥰 TYFS ❤️🦋💜
Thanks for another great idea! I have been saving the die cut negatives without really knowing what to do with them besides using them as a stencil. And you’ve also reminded me of paint chips, which I haven’t used for years. Inspired, once again by you, Liz!
Good afternoon Liz. Wonderful project for scraps! I’ve used the negatives as a stencil before, but never thought to use them in this way! So, thank you for the inspiration and the conversation always enjoy spending time watching and learning with you. 🌹❤️ it’s a very grey day so it’s perfect for crafting. We have been watching The Royal and Murder She Wrote Take care
I had three bottles of your glue that I had never used. Not sure where I got it. I started using it and absolutely love it. Much cheaper than fabritac! I have the same die cuts, going to try the stenciling. Thank you
I don't have a die cut machine. Or paper punches. But this is a great idea, with very pretty results. I actually have not seen anyone do this before (no one that I watch at least). My go-to feel good TV shows are Gilmore Girls and Friends. I've also recently started watching The Big Bang Theory, which I'm enjoying.
What a good idea. I never thought of that! Thank you! 💚💙 I really like exciting detectives. Especially the English or the Scandinavian ones. But on TH-cam I now sometimes watch "Keeping up Appearances" to have a laugh 😜
@@Lizthepaperproject "Keeping up appearances" is an old BBC comedy wich was on tv also in the Netherlands. So it is a bit nostalgic for me. As for many apparently. 💙
for the Shiney on the paint chips... fine grit sandpaper should remove the shine and allow you to distress it... I have not tried it, but it should work
What a cute project! Do you have any suggestions on what to use if you don't have a die cut machine? I really like the look of this and would like to try it, thank you.
Such a great idea!! I saw that episode of AGT too.....and they were hilarious!! There was a similar duo on a few years ago, search up America's Got Talent-Men with pans! Have a great day, from a fellow 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
I always love your ideas! They are very inspirational! If you have the dollar tree in Canada, you may find some dies there....for ONE DOLLAR! I just got five of the six designs they had on offer!
