- A subscriber contacted me to see if I'd be interested in buying a whole whack of unsearched pennies off him. In the conversation, he mentioned that his Dad was looking to sell his collection. How could I say no? Have a peek at the cool things I picked up!

Thanks! It's always fun to see what people have amassed over the years!
I like the 20-30s nickels. Need a few of those for my collection. Definitely not the easiest to find here in Michigan
And hard to find here, too! Thanks for watching!
Nice pick up. Getting a large cent book going anytime soon?
Not so sure about that - hey, you never know!!
I NEED A $1 BILL!!
Well that was a fun mixed bag for sure!

Awesome little collection i liked the variety of stuff had a little bit of everything very cool
Thanks so much. It was definitely fun to go through!
It was a great video. I enjoyed it. It’s cool that you were able to get early dated coins and silver ones too. Besides the excitement, was it worth what you paid for the collection? There are some items there which I liked to add in my collection. Trade? Thanks for sharing. Take care.
Ogir - I think it was the equivalent of paying retail. So not a great deal, but some interesting stuff, and it's always fun to go through coins like this. Send me an email at cadrollhunter@gmail.com and let me know what caught your eye!
@@CADRollHunter yeah, it’s fun to see what kind of stuff you end up with. Sometimes you become surprised by the cool, valuable, or interesting things people collected over the years. I’ll send you an email. Thanks

NICE 👍!
Thanks! 👍I hope you're doing well!!
I'm assuming to collect Canadian coins. I collect them until I find some. I never got a King George VI or a King. George v. Or the special 1867 to 1967 centennial collection of nickel, penny and dime and quarter and half dollar only gotten one Looney. I never got a Canadian Tony or a Canadian looney in a long time
Good luck! I hope you find some!
Congrats! Way to go
Thank you!
So I just went to my bank and asked for some nickels and the teller just gave me 2 unopened 1967 rabbit rolls in the lot I picked up
Wow, that's awesome! Great find!! Congrats!
Thank you thank you thank you. You are the first to explain what a fish scale coin is. I have been wondering about it for months.
No problem!! I'm glad I was able to help solve a mystery!
The 1965 one penny have never seen with a young head laureate portrait which never happens to those coins cuz they change it on the Canadian coins in 1965
That's right, they changed the portrait for all coins starting in 1965.
For the 1967 Dime could you weigh it to find out the silver content?
Actually, you can't. For whatever reason, both the 1967 50% and 80% dimes and quarters have the exact same specifications. You'd need a machine/scanner to tell the difference. This is why coin dealers (who can't be bothered to measure them all) trade these as if they're all 65% silver. They just split the difference.
@@CADRollHunter Oh! Okay, thanks 🙂
Very nice assortment of collectibles. Good way to spend a Sunday afternoon. 😀
You got that right!
Thanks, I did enjoy it.
Great - thanks!!
26:21 it’s not plastic it is made of aluminum
Yes, that's correct. They're exceptionally light, but they're definitely aluminum. Thanks for watching!
@@CADRollHunter aluminium is to Buy and cheap to Producer coins.
A very cool collection to add to yours, James!
Thanks for watching, Alrik!
Really enjoy the content. You do an amazing job in production and your knowledge about varieties and errors is clearly immense. Keep up the great work.
You've taught me a lot about Canadian currency!
Thanks so much! I'm glad you're enjoying the videos! More to come!!
Love this! That’s a good pick up! Those large cents are my favorite by far, but that schilling is gorgeous. Thanks for sharing!
No problem, definitely my pleasure!
