You can't handle and pet a spoiled Guinea Pig enough! All eight of mine (they crossed the Rainbow Bridge) thought their hoomans were created to hold, pet, feed and spoil the Piggie. CiCi thought I was another Guinea Pig I guess. She groomed my hair like I was another piggy and would go sound asleep on my chest and "snore" my vet said. He said he never saw a Guinea Pig so bonded to her hooman.
Guinea pigs are adorable! But the hardest part i found was cleaning up after them since they pee and poop so much. Also you didn't mention anything about the adorable noises they make. Like when they hear you in the kitchen taking the romaine out of the fridge in the crinklely bag lol. I love them but I don't know if I could do it all over again.
A Guinea Pig IS NOT supposed to be put in those plastic balls for anything.They have been known to do horrible damage to their spine because they have such small bone nonflexable backs.Those balls are for hamsters or gerbils not Guinea Pigs
