Civic drivers are the epitome of my existence. I watched one almost kill a dozen people a couple of weeks ago and all they want to do is show off. I'm never impressed.
I’m not defending ricers, but FWD can actually benefit from wings. Not your buddies civic, but some purpose built track cars.

The fact that McLaren made a car honoring its best F1 driver Ayrton Senna is kind of emotional, I would pay extra for the “S” all around this car...

Racing is pretty exhausting. My uncle had a heart attack during a race, not because of any heart condition, but because he became so dehydrated that his blood literally became thick enough for him to have a heart attack.
While racing you wear a helmet. So this is not a convenience thing as Doug suggested, you need a line into you helmet. This is why the F1 car use the same technology.
So no, while on a track you don’t need electric seats but you may benefit from a push to drink system. So this is very expensive, but it is also entirely practical and makes sense.

I don't know if anybody has commented this in here, but, when Senna was alive, he founded a charity organization, and in doing that they created a registered trademark logo, which is that S. Everything that has the S logo of Senna, when sold, great part of the profit goes to the charity organization that helps kids in Brazil! They support poor kids in many educational programs as well as sport programs to help them become athletes! Senna is a legend!

That's why all the "S"es that you get on the back of the key and onto the seats cost that much. It's the spell they use to bring Senna back. Also, for an extra $10k, Senna will do a lap for you and set the benchmark (but not at Imola racetrack).
