Can we just agree that this will be amazing when animated, I feel like this is one of the best fights in my recent memory of black clover, like yeah some of the spade kingdom fights were good with mereleona v the giant demon and asta v lilith where he showed off devil union for the first time, but in all honesty this fight is top tier, the emotions expressed, the simplistic art of the fighting that when animated will gain so much more complication with movement added in, and a really underappreciated detail in the fact that the setting you can notice all of the houses frozen, not a single thing is unfrozen which makes this setting so detailed and an amazing tone setter because you can tell the bitter cold is almost like the bitter emotions felt in this fight.

So YUNO has always been 1 step ahead of ASTA in the entire Black Clover and if asta became this strong then yuno must have become even more strong and even Lucious told that he fears yuno will be the biggest obstacle in his way. I find it a little annoying that the writer is only using the demon slasher sword at this point. With Asta clearly being faster than Sister Lilly he should have pulled the demon dweller to absorb and redirect the blasts and keep her from destroying the town. And when trying to cure her why not use the Demon Destroyer? I don’t really get why the writer went through all the trouble of introducing all Asta’s swords, making the effort to say each of them aren’t really more powerful than the other, it’s just they all do different things, then abandon that all together for a simple katana infused with anti-magic. The inconsistency is irksome

NGL but I was kinda hoping that they would have saved the Sister Lily fight for later and it would be Noelle and Minosa vs Sister Lily. Would be a battle between the girls that love Asta vs the one Asta always loved.
You haven't proof he went to heaven and kill the angel. At this point I don't think Heaven exists . but why put a church there and have nuns? If Heaven does not exist in this story than I am very disappointed this guy obviously doesn't know how to write a good story.
What makes this weirder is before Paladins were a thing, assuming these are anime only moments, it's possible angels may have been interpreted by people in Black Clover like they are in irl since Finral uses a pick up line mentioning them in one of his attempts to flirt with women and in a different episode, Gauche buys an angel costume for Marie as a way to show his appreciation for his sister.
There has been multiple instances where asta hits a strike on his enemies but only defeating them by eliminating their mana, asta's attack here didnt seem like his demon slasher physically slashed her or yurulu, more like asta threw some of his anti-magic straight through his targets. still, i hope sister lily will be fine on the next chapter.
Im want to know how Asta going to save sister lily because Lucius changed her soul so much that they have to follows his orders and they believe following him will achieve true peace in the world. Basically they are under the effects of a Geass user for those code Geass fans out there but their personality remains the same all in all this was a heart breaking chapter I can’t wait for the next one
I hope this story setup changes for the anime series of BLACK-CLOVER; I would rather see (Asta) temporarily go insane for power, and during the process he kills only eight Angelic beings, instead of killing all of them. Or another scenario I can imagine might get written; Is that something happens to ASTA, that makes his body split apart like that of an amoeba, his double is the one who goes crazy, and he tries to kill all the Angelic beings, but he only manages to kill twelve of them. In addition I imagine meanwhile the true self of ASTA, he is a bit weak from what had happened, and when he comes to he discovers that a double of himself is causing allot of destruction, hurting allot of good people, and he is trying to kill all of the Angelic beings.
I NEED TO SEE Asta use a anti-mana zone where no magic can be used when in the presence of Asta and Liebe!!
