Attack from Mars is the game that got me into pinball, a stone cold classic!!
I had an original AFM and I ended up selling it to a friend of mine who had to have it. DIdn't think I would miss is because I own Medieval Madness as well, but boy was I wrong. I searched high and low trying to find one and ended up locating one about 15 minutes from my house. Ended up a buddy of mine owned one of the remakes and was trading it towards a Godzilla Pro and I never knew. Any way, got it back and modded the pin to death and it's never leaving again. So fun with easy to understand rules and just so approachable. It just has the "magic" that some of the newer, more advanced pins are missing. Great video again Gonz. Loving your channel.

Also has the best extra ball sequence in pinball, and so rewarding when you get it, extra balls are vital on afm
Great point mate
There won't be many that top AFM if any at all. It's the equivalent of a videogame roguelike for me. A game genre that has randomised elements but you repeat the same missions/levels. It has that one more go feel and gives you the belief that next time you'll get further and eventually beat it. Just love it and completely agree with you.

Do like the rating idea. Especially vs pin side. My example is Quicksilver…. Compared to the criteria it would rank really low. But I could play it for hours and keep coming back for more. If I drain, it’s my fault! Love it. (But, as you say! What music, what features! What modes?
I have never played it but I'm actually very keen to. I'm on the lookout for an early 80's solid state game and that's certainly a contender.

Attack from marsh is a better game than Medieval Madness from an “at-a-glance” perspective (arcades and newcomers), but Mideval Madness has better code, more unique things to shoot, and a better atmosphere for long term replays. I’d rather OWN a Medieval Madness than AFM, but I’d say AFM (especially theme and ease of approachability) is a better game from an overall perspective.
