After you get good enough, there's Hard Mode, unlocked and accessed any time from that skull on the other side of the entryway after you first access Qi's quest. One of the latest updates added that, and I've only recently started to use Hard Mode for the first time. Let me say this...bomb, stairs, and Exlier abuse ahoy!
I started playing maybe a week or two ago, got 3 auto petters already. 2 from 1 run was crazy. Im really just looking for lucky rings now. But I’ve heard panning is actually the way to go
Hey! I got 18 prismatic shards in total, and that is indeed three chests on floor 300 - you get one on 100, two on 200 and three on 300. You can see the full haul at the very end of the video 🥰
Kinda random but this is how I found the to dew list mod… as someone who always has to tab out to check the wiki to check what I’m doing , the best mod ever
You can find them by breaking barrels in the skull cavern, but the best way to find them imo is panning in the dig site area on Ginger Island on a good luck day - they can be hard to come by but they're SO worth it
Because of the recent nerf to the Dwarf's prices, I actually think you shouldn't be buying Mega Bombs from the Dwarf. Rather, you should spend 5 Iridium Ore at the Desert Trader. Mega Bombs now cost 1600g from the Dwarf. While the 5 Iridium Ore's expected value is 1500g minus 1 coal. You're getting a better deal by spending Iridium Ore directly, and you get to skip the processing and saves the coal that you'd usually need to get value from your ore. Also during the Desert Festival, 15 Calico Eggs per Mega Bomb is a steal, and should be what you spend your extra eggs on until you unlock foraging mastery and can convert Mystery Boxes into Magic Rock Candy.
That's definitely another way to approach it! To be entirely fair, I didn't say you *have* to buy them, I just gave options. Considering that the point of this particular run was to collect iridium ore & prismatic shards, I didn't include the desert trader but it's also an option. I still fully recommend buying some of your bombs if you're late game & have the extra money - I usually buy normal bombs & craft most of my mega bombs with the monster loot from the cavern & any extra gold I pick up. Mega bombs aren't even necessary at all, just slightly more efficient with larger clusters of bombs - you can see I went in with 100 mega bombs, came out with 56, but I used all 100 of the normal bombs. If we're talking efficiency and value for money, you could in theory skip mega bombs entirely and buy/craft normal bombs & explosive ammo.
Technically it's not bottomless, it has a maximum of 2,147,483,527 floors but it's only possible to get there with mods, and if you try go one floor deeper the game crashes.
For some reason, I thought your voice was AI generated for a hot minute. Bring ring combinations Luck Ring and Burglar ring Luck Ring and Iridium band Food Magic rock candy with triple shot espresso made with QI seasoning
Great suggestions!! I had 2 lucky rings, slime ring & iridium band for this run 😄 I'm unsure if being compared to AI is great in this day & age but I'll take it as a compliment! 🤣
@@trashmarble the ring combos are for caving and monster hunting primarily, but the food is also preferred, I'm not sure if you can use Qi Seasoning with Ginger Ale, but it would be good if it does. As for neutral foods that you can consume that doesn't mess with the buffs, use Carrots. Plant an entire field of Carrots in spring and that should last you all winter. Gold quality carrots are to be retained only, the rest get sent to seed maker to make more carrot seeds. If you have access to the best fertilizer at spring, you can retain the Iridium quality ones for standard neutral consumption. So basically, Gold and Iridium Carrots, Qi Seasoned Tripple shot spresso, the ring combo for loot and magnetism, and at least 50 Crystallariums making jade every 2 days. And only use the magic rock candy after you've staircased after floor 100. Trust me, it makes a huge difference.
@jamescustodio3094 Are you sure that YOU'RE not an AI?! 🤣 I appreciate the feedback but I've been playing this game for a very long time & this is just how I do it. If I explained why I do all of these things over what you've said, the video would be half an hour long, it's designed for those that are incredibly far into the game & have the money to spend. You can see I'm far along in this save - planting carrots for food when you have that much money to blow through isn't really worth your time. Like I said, loot isn't my main goal at all & when it comes to rings, the best way to go is with your preference plus 2 lucky rings. In as far as the crystalariums, you can see in the video that I literally have an entire shed full of them & producing over 100 jade. The only thing I might say is a *must* here would be the Qi seasoning on the Ginger Ale, but with all of the other luck buffs and the particular ore buff I'm using here I'm unsure it would have helped me with my goal of getting as much ore as I could.
@@trashmarble no, I'm not an AI, I wish I was so I wouldn't have to pay bills. A half hour long guide would actually be nice. That's how Salmence and GamerGar started. You make great content with a higher standard than expected and you clearly are adept at the game. The carrot bit is what I prefer to make because I don't like spending much on salads and stuff, I prefer to grow and plant my own crops to use as food in the mines. Plus, at this point in the endgame you've probably already foraged a ton of purple shrooms and volcano shrooms and probably cactus for food.
@@jamescustodio3094 Thank you! Yeah, a half an hour long guide would be nice for sure, but even if I wanted to it wouldn't feasible as my first ever video when I'm still establishing myself, considering how saturated YT is with Stardew content and considering that I'm learning to edit as I go. Again, if you have 8 million gold to spend, buying salads or whatever your preferred food is is the easiest way to get food. People coming to this video might not have a big stock of food farmed or the time to farm it, but if they're late game they probably have a silly amount of money easily available for salads.
Excellent video! I actually learned stuff, even after my ridiculous playtime.
Thank you so much!! Happy to help 🥰
Great strategies - well thought out and a fresh perspective. I am here for the rest of the series💛
A chest! A chest in the Skull Cavern's door 🤯 This video is so usefull just from the intro already 😭

There's also the special charm from Secret Note 20 that permanently increases daily luck by a small amount.
helpful tips, thankssss
I have done dozens of runs with lots of luck and still can’t get a single autopetter. My next save is gonna be a joja one idek anymore lmao
This is so valid 😂

Why no radioactive ore?
This is a guide to the normal skull cavern, not the dangerous version - no radioactive ore in the normal cavern!
