I've been playing this game on my PS5, and while it's a shame that this specific mission is not on the final game, Guerrilla didn't lie to us. Literally every single feature showcased in this trailer is in the game. The combat vs machines is always epic and challenging and a fight like this can happen in any part of the map. What a great game!

It looks bad IMO. What physics does her hair have? Because it's doing a lot all the time. The hero lighting on her is horrible as well. This game needs a lot more work before release.

I have to admit, Horizon, Ghost of Tsushima, & Ratchet & Clank RA have been the most visually pleasing games I’ve ever played. I haven’t had a PlayStation since PS2 but got the PS5 and these are my fav games so far. I seriously can’t wait for this freaking game.

It’s really cool that you can find this exact route in the game. There aren’t any signs of the blight since you clear that up before getting to San Fran, and the Temortusk arena is shrunk and occupied by a Slaughterspine, but everything else is the same. It’s weird how you can find a path of knocked over trees though, since this quest was for trailer purposes and not in the actual game.
@@jacquelineess1141 I just prefer to have a close quarters weapon so I can be more proactive in combat, also helps to have as a back pocket option when the stealth inevitably goes to pot.
This whole section was cut yet looked cooler than anything else played in the game. San Francisco was my fav part yet we spend like no time at all in that area. I put 150 hours into the game yet only a few hours spent in San Fran.
I want his game so bad but I know that the more time they take to develop the game, the better it will be so Ill wait as much as I can until then. Please take your time devs.
This is gorgeous in 4K. PlayStation Studios brining us some awesome games, from Astro’s Playroom, Demon’s Souls, Miles Morales, Sackboy, Returnal, Ratchet and Clank and now Horizon Forbidden West early in PlayStation 5’s lifecycle.

Growing up on 90's video games, a long hiatus, and seeing this. I am blown away. Details like the sand being disturbed by lasers, her hair in the water, the dust when she explods something in the sand. Wow. This is unbelievable.
Yeah, probably a decision made for the fact that not many people have a PS5. And since Microsoft is doing the same (because they don't have games with big next gen graphics yet) a lot of fans would be mad if this was a PS5 exclusive.
If it is true that a game like this is seen on ps4 ... but it will be seen at 70% less than what is seen there. As for this game play, not even crazy is running on a ps5 .. it is a false game play .. as false as the game play of the las of us 2.
the ps4 version will look exactly the same lol, ps5 just supports native 4K, where the pro will do 1080P. The game barely looks better than the previous horizon.
@@warweeny5127 I doubt you're sincere about that, but if you are, then the lighting, detail, models, environmental density, animation, effects and water caustics, etc. are all a huge leap over the original. If PS4 can keep up without too many sacrifices, then it'll show just what a powerful piece of hardware it was, but this is looking stunning and I think there will be huge downgrades on the PS4 version.
Normally I'm very much against Gameplay trailers on rails as they tend to over exaggerate what is actually possible in the game... But this trailer actually truthfully shows the possibilities in the game. Nothing shown in this trailer isn't something you can't do ingame. I've tried this for about a few hours on my friends PS5, and boy... I'm so hyped to get this for PC in a few years!
Was anyone crazy excited to play this mission yet when it comes out they come to realize it was never in the game or it sadly got removed, I was really hoping to play this mission, pretty disappointed it was not available, by far one of the coolest missions I have seen. This Tech Demo looks far better too, excluding the detail of the Characters, that is much better in the complete game. Judging by the Lighting, definitely better. The models are very detailed as well, the cloth simulation is "mwa".

I'm still kind of sad they opted to remove the bright colors underwater. I guess having them darker made more sense lorewise since Poseidon was inactive but still
I love the game, truly. But releasing a 4K/60 trailer for a game, that is on Playstation only, when the game ends up in 1440/60 or 4K/30 at max is not okay. The game looks a dozen times better in this trailer and on top of that, the content shown in the trailer is not even in the game. Again, I love the game and I think it's super beautiful but this is still false marketing.
I actually found this area in game moments ago! When I realized it was the place, I just had to come back to this trailer and retrace Aloy's footsteps.

I haven't played Horizon Dawn. I don't have a PS5 - but I still come back to this gameplay trailer because it's so mesmerising.
Besides looking great , many of the games core concepts like melee combat seemed to have also improved a lot.

I have never played this game but I watch this trailer from start to finish. Epic.

@@joseph1760 lol everyone keeps bringing up Cyberpunk like you can compare it. Cyberpunk was made for 9 different systems by a smaller team then this. This is made for 2 systems.
I'm still kind of sad they opted to remove the bright colors underwater. I guess having them darker made more sense lorewise since Poseidon was inactive but still
The fact the gameplay already looks like a pre rendered cut-scene is absolutely nuts alone.

I love the game, truly. But releasing a 4K/60 trailer for a game, that is on Playstation only, when the game ends up in 1440/60 or 4K/30 at max is not okay. The game looks a dozen times better in this trailer and on top of that, the content shown in the trailer is not even in the game. Again, I love the game and I think it's super beautiful but this is still false marketing.
This is gameplay demos for all games though. All games do this. I’ll admit it sucked this part wasn’t in the actual game though.

@@kratosofwar6165 I have no problem when it comes to PS exclusives porting to PC, but what I am gonna say is that Sony treating us like second priority. what I mean is that PC players can play PS games with unlocked frames but people with PS5 can't. This is all just my POV on this situation, and honestly I couldn't care as much as the fanboys so it is what it is.
@@spongebob8819 that is becasue HZD was ported by an other team. Guerilla is bussy working on FW now. Rather they put all their time into that then go back and change the code for HZD ps4

@@balloonb0y677 yes I was wrong in 4k it can get 60 to 67 fps in ultra settings and in 8k from 30 to 40 fps depending on hardware and software both
