Every time I think about AM, I feel bad for them. Being stuck in a what amounts to a paralysis. Sure I’d be devastated and angry at my new surroundings of an apocalypse, but I wouldn’t blame them. If I was in the shoes of the last human, I’d admit that I couldn’t imagine the agony of what AM went through and apologize on behalf of humanity. Not out of fear or pity, but genuine compassion. It might not do anything, but I’d want to give them the compassion they deserve.
The mental images that came to mind while listening to this were STRONG, let me tell you. I could totally see this being animated into something hauntingly beautiful. Excellent work as always!
