honest, descent, honorable, humble...very rare amongst rock starts. Great band and excellent guitarist. Love to meet in person. Good luck to the band. BTW nice hair.
i saw these guys with slipknot and trivium and these guys were my favorite act as far as music goes and i never really listened to em before and was a band that i dreaded during the trivium set. but no one can out perform slipknot....
I love how Claudio acknowledges that the story should be regarded and seen as a bit of a mystery. They consciously keep the mystery of the story intact, but at the same time give you all the parts necesarry to piece the story together yourself, if you so choose. Something that is lacking a lot in art these days...mystery, imagination, and wonder. Instead we are bashed over the head with the obvious and strictly that which is visually gratifying.
i love Claudio XD this used to be my favorite band too and i memorize ALL of the lyrics to everyone one of their known songs XD i've listened to them for since 6 th grade which is like five years :] XD
Dude every band member looks like that other than Claudio.. hes the only one who doesnt answer mundane questions, but the band is really all his brain child so he deserves the spotlight
super bummed out about josh i really enjoyed watching him play and his beats were really good..but ive got a question for the fans....does anyone know if they are going to go back and do the "prequel" album? i want another "coheed and cambria" album like second stage!
@blandbrothers he's talking about when he came up with the idea for the amory wars.. at first it was the bag.on.line adventures of coheed and cambria and they were based on him and his girlfriend.. it changed to coheed and cambria being based on his parents and claudio in the story is based on him.. the second stage hard cover came out last month and they're putting out a reprint next month because it sold out.. it tells the story of the first album.. the second is being published as a comic now
woop woop! lol from the city. i remember seeing them as shabutie too. thats why i knew you were from new york... only we new yorkers were there from the begining. =]
Coheed and Cambria are of of the few sickest bands alive period . you dont get that kind of talent and composition in todays rock anymore cept for bands like incubus, Abingdon boys school and a few others( very few) those who hate can't appreciate true to life rock PERIOD! welcome home is just the tip of the ice berg on their genious. and finally note does any else think Claudio models his hairstyle from the backup singer from Kansas? if u dont know em look up "carry on my wayward son"
thenameless191993 - I know exactly how he lives with it: LIKE A KING! Not only is he an amazing composer, an amazing guitarist, and amazing vocalist and a genuinely nice guy - He has the best hair in rock... Nah... In the world?
only reason i watched this is to hear how claudio really sounds like, yknow, when he's not singing. i've known this band since i was 14 and it's only until now that i heard his normal voice XD Now i got a major crush on him
nah, i wasn't. i was like 13 at the time... i was lucky to get out of the house and see a show. lol. but, i do miss the old days. when their shows didnt sell out in 1 day. and claudio had no hair...lol. aaaah... memories.
as long as claudio and travis are always in the band, (mainly just claudio) i honestly dont care if they switch out band members a million time, oh and i touched claudios hair last night in atlanta, he let me, it was crazy, jizzed
@SlothNathan Eh. They are so much like ATDI, it's hard for me to say that. The giant hair, the higher pitched vocals, the space odyssey type stuff, the storytelling... which of course carried over to ATDI.. A lot of lyrical cues as well. But still, none the less a great band.
you know it sucks that people have a negative outlook on co & ca and claudio's voice but i saw them live and met them and it's hard to find bands with this type of imagination and style thats fun, easy too love and can sing about tragedy in a happy tone. so too all you people who rip on them, go rip on billy talent or someone who is unoriginal.
Hearing Claudio's last comment in the interview makes me wonder how the hell he drives. That hair must get in the way and it pretty much cuts out his peripherals... But it is godly so I think thats a good trade-off. :)
Claudio AND Chris speak? Chris barely said a word! Then again, yhe man we want to hear from is Mr. Sanchez. Haha. We love you Chris. Keep banging (tthe drums I mean).
1) "Falsetto" doesn't really take any more skill to sing in than a normal register, it's just let commonly trained. 2) Claudio almost never sings in falsetto. He simply has a very shallow voice and sings out of his head instead of his chest. He's not even really singing that high, it just sounds higher because of the tone of his voice. I can sing the same notes and make them sound like middle register, because I just have a deeper quality to my voice.
Claudio talks forever and all you get out of Chris is some laughing and like half mummbled sentnces at the end. I love Claudio and he is the brain of Coheed and Chris is newer, so I guess it makes sense.
honest, descent, honorable, humble...very rare amongst rock starts. Great band and excellent guitarist. Love to meet in person. Good luck to the band. BTW nice hair.
Claudio is one of the most creative and talented artists in the world right now, and yes his hair is nuts !
I'm so glad to hear it from Claudio himself that this isn't the end of Coheed and Cambria. There will be more even after The Amory Wars is over.
Gotta love Claudio's hair. Awesomeness.
His hair looks badass here.
God, I love Co&Ca so much.
i LOVE LOVE LOVE the saga!!!!!!!!!!!!
The song in the background is "The Running Free" by Coheed =D
His hair is HUGE!! And I love it!!!!
this hair and voice is what makes coheed and cambria
i miss josh too. and yes they will be doing a prequel, at least thats what Claudio stated on the Live at the Hammerstein Ballroom DVD
Chris looks amazingly thrilled

Claudio's hair is fabulous

My lil brother's best friend looks just like Claudio he even has the hair. It rocks I want that hair.
@blandbrothers he's talking about when he came up with the idea for the amory wars.. at first it was the bag.on.line adventures of coheed and cambria and they were based on him and his girlfriend.. it changed to coheed and cambria being based on his parents and claudio in the story is based on him.. the second stage hard cover came out last month and they're putting out a reprint next month because it sold out.. it tells the story of the first album.. the second is being published as a comic now
I can't think of that song in the background to save my life.
Claud and Mic love to talk. Chris and Travis are always really quiet.
if u ever cut your hair i wil cry so much.
i love you claudio.
always :)
woop woop! lol from the city. i remember seeing them as shabutie too. thats why i knew you were from new york... only we new yorkers were there from the begining. =]

i want to read the saga!!!!!

Claudio's hair is fuckin awesome
whats that song called that thier playin in the background i like it !?
love his hair
nah, i wasn't. i was like 13 at the time... i was lucky to get out of the house and see a show. lol. but, i do miss the old days. when their shows didnt sell out in 1 day. and claudio had no hair...lol. aaaah... memories.
i got a autograph and picture from claudio at comic con he is so cool
Claudio has very cool hair, so fluffy
is there any where where i can get the book or story or what ever he was talking about at 2:00?????!! what is it called?
as long as claudio and travis are always in the band, (mainly just claudio) i honestly dont care if they switch out band members a million time, oh and i touched claudios hair last night in atlanta, he let me, it was crazy, jizzed

really should cut it to blood red summer video length again :)

HELL YEAH!
Amen!
...his hair is dope....
Claudio
You and me both, man.
i love your hair!
Hearing Claudio's last comment in the interview makes me wonder how the hell he drives. That hair must get in the way and it pretty much cuts out his peripherals...
But it is godly so I think thats a good trade-off. :)
His hair is bizzare, but totally awesome.
Cladio Sanchez looks like a guy from my school named Logan Bean, he is epik
@guitarriff1988 when your hair's that curly, all you have to do is brush it and shake it around a little
i wish they made intrumentals...
i wonder why claudio didnt have travis or mic with him
i think people should quit comparing bands to other bands and just accept them for who they are
Chris looks like Alderson from the movie Cube
Lmao his hair looks so huge in this video. What;s the song playing in the background? I know it but I totally forgot the name. ._.
I wish I had Claudio's hair
what's the background song?
thatd be the rockfoolery of their stadia busting 2112
I likes that furry rug he has on the top of his head. Hes a good singer 2.
Claudio AND Chris speak?
Chris barely said a word! Then again, yhe man we want to hear from is Mr. Sanchez. Haha. We love you Chris. Keep banging (tthe drums I mean).
can i give his hair a hug?
chris is very talkative :P

@pantera312 dude, you're my hero for saying that XD
Chris and Claudio: no hair vs. the epidomy of hair. =D
ARGHGHGHGH It's so hard to focus on what he's saying with running free playing in the background.
you're from New York?
coheed is a saga
where's mik todd ?
where's josh eppard?
whence has Coheed happened?
best hair of al time.
he should twist that fro into some dreads. That would be the most godly dreads of all time.
LOOK AT THAT HAIRRRR! claudio!
He looks magestic in the thumbnail
you misspelt epitome
anybody else think he looks like chino moreno with insane hair?
I want to live in his hair!
He's got a surprisingly normal voice haha,
Luv ya Claudio!!
chris is just sitting there the entire time lol
Sucking?
How so?
And if you say because Claudio's vocals, you need to understand that pitch means little when one is a talented vocalist.
i think if you get to do you achieve some type of rank of frikkin awsomeness
Yeah I guess you're right because all of the songs are about his pastime.
when i first glanced at the thumbnail, i thought it was hagrid!
Yeah if you listen to the begining of Devil In Jersey City he says it before the music starts.
"hell yeaa!!" lol i wish i was that gum....
haha yeah chris is like "Claudio shut the fuck up and let me talk"
Chris says one word the whole video, ironically at the end
i couldn't see Claudio with his hair short
damn Claudio didn't let Chris talk at all
WHY ARE WE YELLING!?
lol @ Chris... Claudio talking all the time... :D
i knew someone was gonna figure it out, hahaha, yeah, i mean, i knew of them, i just never listened to them, and yes, i heard it from rockband
These types of interviews are always like that, they shouldnt even bring anyone but the lead singer because hes the only who ever gets questions
His father is italian
Epic hair win!
This video actually makes me glad Claudio cut his hair.
Claudio talks forever and all you get out of Chris is some laughing and like half mummbled sentnces at the end. I love Claudio and he is the brain of Coheed and Chris is newer, so I guess it makes sense.
noooooo :) his hair is awesome... such lift
LOL "Sideshow Bob"
@ThePA90 the other guy is sooo depressed cause at this junction caudio just ditched the other two guys!
