    • @CarloBarlo69
      @CarloBarlo69 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Chill chill. Clingan is already twice the defender that Edey is. And he doesn’t need to take 100 post up shots to be effective on offense

    • @CarloBarlo69
      @CarloBarlo69 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Also - yall need to realize, older players are usually better than younger players coming into the league. But younger players almost always work out better in the long run. By the end of Edey’s rookie contract he’ll be 27 - while Clingan will only be 24.
      That means after Edey’s second contract he’d be 30 or older, and well out of his prime. But Clingan will be 27- and entering his prime.
      I’m willing to bet Edey is close to his actual NBA ceiling, while Clingan has SO much room to grow both defensively and offensively. Yet Clingan is already better as a defender.
      Gotta think long term, not this season. You take Clingan 10/10 times over Edey.

      I do think Edey will be better than people thought of him at draft. I was shocked at how a 7'4" stud is the new bum, SMH. But Clingan is going to be fun. I really think both of these big fellas will be Hoopers, But we got super lucky with Donovan and Deni. Blazers did well

    I actually like the Cavs trade. It brings back bench depth that makes sense while getting an unprotected first. I'm not in the camp that Grant is that valuable of an asset, so I think this is fair compensation.

    Matisse and Grant have to be traded

    • @gamechanger114
      @gamechanger114 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      I'd rather Anfernee get traded over Grant tbh. I'd like for Scoot and Shaedon to get more reps as the lead guards for more expirence. And get a nice young backup PG. A trade like Anfernee, Kris Murray and Eric Bledsoe's contract to the Kings for Malik Monk, Devin Carter, Keon Ellis and draft picks a 1st rd pick. Kings seem to be in win now mode and Anfernee would make their team be truly loaded, also Kings get to reunite Kris Murray with his brother. Team chemistry gets even better. Blazers get Monk, who's a solid role player that's more suited to come off the bench than Anfernee they also get a young backup PG that's known for defense to compete with Scoot and Keon Ellis would just be nice for depth since he's another solid defender. Kris Murray may have a higher ceiling than him but, we already have Deni Avdija, Toumani Camara and Grant (assuming we still have him), who I'd rather play over him. Then, throughout the season we can leverage either Thybulle or Grant's contracts to get more picks or wait till next year's draft to leverage them in order to increase the odds to get Cooper Flagg

    Personally I think the value of those Jerami trades is actually less realistic than what we’ve been hearing given Cronin’s stance. If it’s just a couple salary throw-ins and a pick swap, I’d be shocked if they don’t just try to wait it out in hopes that teams get desperate at the trade deadline

    The Clippers need more forward scoring and you can't count on Kawhi. Toronto was in the hunt for Paul George, so they might bite. Of course Lakers need help and don't want to waste LeBron's last years. Miami could use help.

      Depends on what picks are in the trade. The Pels are ready to shake it up after last year. They don’t want to be the ones to sign Ingram to a Max deal like he’s going to want. Portland has the leverage here.
