You know what added greatly was the soloist's smile like she loved what she was doing!

I just love the way the FBC Dallas does this hymn.

This is way too long overdue. Where did this beautiful fiddling lady come from? Who said Baptists can’t have fun? Y’all down in Dallas: Put more of this forth. The late Dr. Criswell would love it!

If you gonna play in Texas, you gotta have a fiddle in the band! Awesome

i liked the way the violinist played. But the original tune is the best. Sorry guys

This is the tune that we always sang when I was in the choir. It was a German church in the 1950's. No violins. This version (music) was written in 1793 by Oliver Holden.

This is high energy praise. The Lord is there among His people and it’s showing on the fiddler’s face. She was ready to burst 💥 forth in praise, because she prepared herself, body soul spirit and joy. Live music 🎶 has a new meaning here.

All Hail the Power of Jesus name performed at the Grand Ol' Opre. Pretty good, but you need to be careful when tampering with excellence. This was risky, but I think you pulled this one off well.

I don’t think that they were tampering with excellence; Keith and Kristin Getty did it like this first; it’s definitely Country Music 🎶 from Ireland.

    This “version” is absolutely awful!
To have taken a Biblical majestic hymn and ruined it w shallow bluegrass and then the stupid stupid loud drums is just plain sacrilegious!!
    Shame on the music director!

Well, me coming from an episcopal faith church this is very soul moving. I have such moved to the Baptist faith now. Love the old new rendition of these glorious songs. Love the Baptist touch as well on it.

Bible says Praise Him with the loud cymbals! Coming from the Appalachian Mountains, we use fiddles, banjos, drums and more in our church. Its our culture and way of praising God. It's your preference if you do like this, but better be careful criticizing God's people when Praise is in the House!
Just because they don't worship like you, does not make your more spiritual. I'd rather have a church full of spirit filled singing and music, than church people with a critical spirit.
By the way, this is the same style music with fiddles in church Dolly Parton grew up with in Great Smoky Mountains.

Shame on you, how you deceiving a fellow church, a church that is part of the body of Christ, this is not about you or me, it's about God! Be carefull with your words.
