I saw him open for my favorite Southern Rock band "The Steel Woods" last year and he is the real deal. He is killer live. It's been awhile since I've seen an opener that really impressed me. The kid is really good.
As a traditional country music elitest, Zach Top is the artist we needed. I have been waiting so long for a new artist to make traditional country songs like Alan Jackson and George Strait. If you haven't already, check out 'Sounds Like The Radio'. Top tier country.
You can't go wrong with any track off his whole album, but Use Me is probably one of the best pure country songs written in years. Just a classic old school cheating song.

I did not know until a bit ago. As “country” as he is. He was born in a town close to where I grew up. Between 2-3 hours away from Seattle. Washington state is pretty rural once you get about 30 minutes outside of the major city. Everyone just thinks of Seattle, but 90% of the state is forest, farm land, and high plains. Yes, high plains.
He’s a really good story teller through his songs just like George strait and all of the greats. I think he will have a long decorated career in music. I always joke when I listen to Zach that if George Strait and Alan Jackson had a baby it would be Zach Top 😂
Okay Country is not my top genre although I do like it and listen to it (shout out to Chris Stapleton), but I happen to live in a small town just outside Nashville and have never even heard of this dude. I'm definitely going to browse his discography. Thank ya!
