My cousin Drew!!! Not only is he a talented rider, he is one of the smartest guys I ever met. Haven’t seen anything he couldn’t build. And the most humble guy you’ll ever meet as well.
I can't see much need to change anything unless you need to haul more bikes. He said he's had his Road Glide in there with his dirt bike with no issues.
Nice job & I drive a 95 Silverado but I like that. I've been LQQKing at different things like busses/box trucks to possibly do something like this but as a home on wheels as well. This is pretty cool but I do wonder how the weight wears on it's transmission? At least you have mechanical ability, I look for things that I hopefully never worry about? That doesn't happen enough but this is a great thing to see. Where did you come across her? peace
He actually told me he took it to get the transmission looked at and was told its in perfect condition and didn't need to be rebuilt. Thats around 100k miles so seems pretty promising. I like the sprinters but they are just so expensive to get a good one and then you're limited on space. Then again more agile and road friendly than the box trucks. I guess there is no "perfect" rig just gotta do what works for your needs.
Yes, I'm certain you did everything within your power to check her out & I was more speaking of MY concerns as someone who likes this vehicle but can't fix major stuff if it breaks. I really like it & hadn't ever seen anyone else use an ambulance so it sparked my interest ; kudo's, it serves your purposes well & again, I do like it. It is very stylish as well but you said it correctly = doing it for your own needs >> Intent & using what you have wisely. You've done that . Best of luck Sir

This might be the best, remodel without demoing the inside, I've seen! Great Job!!
Agreed. He made great use of the existing space.

That’s sweet! Nice build!!
We need to build a van so we can stop using these big trucks haha

Great video! I have an 02 e450 ambo and we have some of the same stuff done. Such a handy rig. Left mine stock on the inside as well.
