I've seen quite a few converts, and this one is very impressive. Experience in the automotive industry definitely delivers dividends, but what a well-thought-through project. I wish you luck on your journey!
Out standing build, this is in the top 1% , not to mention the 4 x 4 conversion! The cool thing as this couple eventually moves on to bigger and better thing you can sell this conversion for a good chunk of money. Enjoy the journey!
Please pass along to Jake & Tara, that I think they're inspiring in so many ways ( and especially their life's attitude ). It was so nice to hear their story, and their passion for life going forward. They are awesome, tell them I said so !!! Thanks again. Always, Syn Silver.
Jake and Tara watching you both and looking in your eyes I see two wonderful spirits and your light. This is going to be a wonderful journey. Go see what the Great I AM created for us all and enjoy the the path he has put you on. Enjoy your travels and maybe we will meet some day. Well done on your conversion!
I graduated from high school in 1974, 2 weeks later, I went to work for an ambulance company at that time, a very busy ambulance. Between runs, I'd nap out in the back on the bench. In the back of my mind- I wondered about living in here??? Fast forward of today and it's being done!! Very clean job. My vision back then, keep all the sliding smoke door cabinets. Just add a sink potty, outside hose for the shower. For the stove, use coleman 2 burner stove. And done. Great job on your build... Toledo 💙
You guys took a bold step taking a break from the rat race and did a great job fixing up that ambulance, sure you will have a great time on your adventures making fantastic memories . Hope you come up to Canada sometime with it 😉🇨🇦
Bought my ambulance in June. Yes you can just get it and go with some camping equipment. And I think of my ambulance as saving lives! Ever think any other way.
I have two quigley cutaways. 97 and 03. Both 7.3. I LOVE to single them out to 19.5 rims ..then only 4 tires. Cant air down but super efficent vs duals. Done this on F350s as well. Yours must be an AEV as the layout is a twin to my 03 AEV.
What a cool build! i imagine being in there myself having to figure out for days what everything is for haha. says a lot about the creativity of these guys i guess
Hey Tara and jake, nice rig I have a 2003 horton 7.3 diesel just wondering what u did to use the wiring , I can't use any of mine been in it 2yrs, have fun, God bless
We have a similar ambulance conversation except our front end is a Freightliner which we love. Our set up is different we have a separate toilet and a separate shower and our bed folds up which we have on a remote control to fold our bed up when we’re done. It opens things so much with the bed up into a couch. we always open the back doors and we get some great air flow. We absolutely love our conversation we named The Beast. It’s just my husband I and our three fur babies but now it’s only 2 fur babies we just lost out 14 years old large dog last week. We wouldn’t trade our Beast for any vehicle RV out there. We also have the same steps to go up to the top as well we love that too it’s a great feature. They might want to change the red lights on top because that is against the law in certain states, just a warning and they are pricey to change to white. It’s an awesome conversation I hope they enjoy it as much as we do ours.
So jealous of American ambo boxes- so much easier to build in and way bigger. Mine is 1992 f250 petrol and she doesnt have a box - she has a much smaller weird fibreglass odd shapped body/roof. I can JUST stand up inside. Just
We’d love to hear more on your build! We are currently in your neck of the woods! Feel free to reach out to us with any questions or help, pending your location!
Dude! my biggest worry, having to walk crouched. I too am six feet tall and want to do an ambulance build, but raising the roof will be the first thing I will do.
We weighed this option as well, the amount of extensive work needed to raise the roof wasn't worth it for us. Tho it would be a convenience, the ceiling height doesn't actually bother me at all. And I was WORRIED it would. I'm 6ft as well. Bed height I've found to be the more crucial headroom factor. To each his own.
My question for an ambulance camper is do they have hassle from cops, and other people when it comes to parking for normal things. If they didnt have a bike would parking it at a store, downtown, etc normal places be impossible.
I am a certified professional healer, psychic medium, space clearing and Feng Shui. Do not buy an ambulance to live in guys!! It is associated with so much death, stress and tragedy. I certainly wouldn't accept a job offer to clear the energies out of one unless paid minimum 5 grand and I may even decline still. It's the same thing as moving into houses. The past affects your health, emotions and mental state without even knowing the history before moving in!! I could give so many examples of this in every category. And I barely tune in whenever I see these converted ambulances because it's such wrecked energy. I just always confirm it. And I'm not even going to watch this video.
Sga C, You have a point but all the problems you speak of can be countered with various energy / frequency work and set the entire RV conversion to a neutral state having no further effect on the new owners. Just thought to point this out, even though you pointed out it could be a big job? I purchased an Ambulance and did the cleanse myself with zero issues.
She fails to connect with the surplus of lives this rig has saved and families that owe their gratitude to these vehicles and the 1st responders that helped save lives. Realize this can be a healing vessel too, much more often than she may think.😊
Different strokes for different folks. Awesome transformation! Lotsa talent there. Love the 🐕 🐕 Your talents could be a lucrative business. Happy Trails
I was a mechanic for over 42 years.. now my body is a traun wreck.. you got out just in time...good job guys
I love their mindset as much as the ingenuity in the Ambulance camper.
Amen, True ministers of Hope, for Life, Love and the end time light in the midst of darkness!

What a kickass setup!!! Timmy C Arizona
Jake And Tara really did an amazing job on this conversion. They should start a youtube channel I would definitely subscribe.
It’s the little things that I like in this ambulance. The latches and where to put some things.
Bought my ambulance in June. Yes you can just get it and go with some camping equipment.
And I think of my ambulance as saving lives! Ever think any other way.
Very nice I love you have some spaceand the layout is niice also love it!

Like the idea of the A/C and heat. I guess they have away of taking a shower. The oven is great to cook in as well. Enjoyed and thanks!

Great layout. It has everything you need. My question as probably a lot of people where's the restroom and shower? What a big bed.
Nice conversion.

I've been hoping to see someone add a slide-out or a pop-up tent on the roof with inside access. Sick build I'd love to have it.
@9thgen... solar on top
Hey Tara and jake, nice rig I have a 2003 horton 7.3 diesel just wondering what u did to use the wiring , I can't use any of mine been in it 2yrs, have fun, God bless
Molly been on the catnip again on that first shot 😂
I would have added a soft fabric to cover that shiny ceiling… Otherwise a great build. The great lesson here is to reuse what’s already there. 👍

What kind of mpg? I'm guessing 13 mpg. I'm looking at one right now to do something similar
13mpg is spot on for average. Wind has a significant impact. We have gotten as good as 15mpg

I can JUST stand up inside. Just
what about a bathroom and shower?
13:48 you’re welcome
👍👍👍
I have an ambulance now and want to covert it! I am not going to do much myself. Who should I look to for help??? I am in WNC
We’d love to hear more on your build! We are currently in your neck of the woods! Feel free to reach out to us with any questions or help, pending your location!
Where's the toilet?
Where's the toilet and shower?
Anyone know where you can get insurance for one of these?

Amazing build. I wish you guys would build and sell a similar one. I am in.
Front facing red lights could be a legal issue in some states
only if they're operational
Toilet? Bathroom?
The outdoors
Toilet, shower?
They have a small camp toilet for emergency use (forgot to show in video). There is an outdoor shower, this is shown at the beginning of the video.
@@ElementLife thanks
These kid's have a lot to learn. Heat vent up high. AC down low?
@garyoverton they'll figure it out
My question for an ambulance camper is do they have hassle from cops, and other people when it comes to parking for normal things. If they didnt have a bike would parking it at a store, downtown, etc normal places be impossible.
Propane tank 1 foot away from a gasoline generator in the same compartment? Interesting...
I would be worried if someone thought it was an ambulance and wanted to break in looking for drugs.
He could build and flip these for a living. Could probably sell these for $200,000++
I wish he could stand up…that would be a no go for me.
I'm curious, did you need to get a special license to drive the ambulance?
no
The steering geometry is wrong.
Onlyfans ?
You spend all that money and can't even stand up straight, don't understand why no roof raise.
@roaddiemort to each their own
Seems like the gas for that truck will keep you broke it will put you out of business soon
That dog is underfed. You can see its ribcage.
the best? nope. take a hard look at the engineer' ambulance build.
best conversion ? not for me.

Ah... Once again. Every single one is wrecked / bad energy.
I strongly do not advise it for very many factors
