I bought a circulator and tried cooking steaks sous vide. By comparison to those reverse seared over charcoal with a little smoke wood - they SUCKED. I might be able to sous vide a stain out of an old sock, but haven't tried yet.
@@handcannon1388 You should check out his other channel "sous vide everything" that the op was referencing. I don't have any experience doing it but Guga seems to really love sous vide steaks and the man knows his meats.
Although I prefer reverse searing over sous vide, saying sous vide sucks is not true at all. It's a lot less work to sous vide once you have the equipment and steaks come out amazing, and cleanup is a cinch.

Hey Guga, That slab of Wagyu MB7 would cost us about $200-250 in Australia. MB9-12 is about $500-600 - that one is rare though because we export 95% of it. I love how you treated it with high respect while prepping and cooking. Love the show mate.

Doing some research a grade 7 or is considered only 4A. 8 is very low 5A. The scale goes all the way up to 12 witch is the holy grail hand grenade of Antioch of the steak world.

You can experience any wagyu steak just 2 cuts of meat an you can eat a high end steak .. these guy make videos an make alot of meat so it's cheaper for them to buy a whole cut of meat rather a portion.
